Durable and complete mailbox kit

This kit was very easy to assemble and install. Comes with everything needed to install your mailbox (minus post hole diggers, concrete and strong back)

Mailbox

This mailbox wobbles where poles connect. There should be holes in the poles to put screws in to keep it together. It feels like it will come apart when I open and close the mail box. Disappointing.

Not as sturdy as I thought.

As other reviewers stated, this system is relatively easy to assemble. However, thye connection between the upper and lower vertical frame is merely an internal coupling (one piece forced into the other). As a result, when opening the mailbox, the whole unit moves (even when installed with cement). In addition, the flag assembly was broken and I had to drive back to Lowes to have it replaced.

Came in 3 parts. Mailbox and two parts for the stand. The two stand parts had to be hammered together - not good idea. Then the stand had to be driven into the ground to make it available for deliveries. Not easy. Would not buy that version of a mailbox again.

Returning item in next day or so.

Spoke with a former Postal worker and was told this item rust. Return and get something else.

Fast and easy to install only thing toke so long was the concrete to set but it’s a great mail box kit

Does the job

Bought this mailbox for price and ease of placement. I live on a corner that drivers misjudge and have my mailbox taken out several times a year it seems. Finally had to totally replace and this totally did the job. It’s 4 stars because it isn’t “heavyweight” which is fine and certainly appropriate for this price. Decorative too.

Easy mailbox to put into work. I dug a 6 inch hole and laid a layer of concrete.

Mailbox is average. Post & hardware are JUNK!

I would like to start this review by stating I am a mechanical designer and have been for most of my career. I speak from experience here. I bought this for my girlfriend's business mailbox. The mailbox itself is of average quality, but the post is made of extremely thin, flimsy steel and is terribly flexible. The "hardware kit" is a joke. The brackets to mount the box to the post are flimsy and poorly designed. Once assembled, the mailbox tilts and wobbles on the post when you are simply ...

Works well would have given 5 stars but 1st box came without the post. Took it back to Lowes replacement was given with no issues.
