Excellent with proper install
Would RecommendInstallation a bit more detailed than I thought. Best to hammer two pieces of rebar into the ground and then two pieces of 1/2 inch pvc pipe over it. The base of the mailbox fits tightly over the pvc. Using a block of wood to keep from damaging the mailbox base...hammer the base in next over the pvc pipe. The top of the base needs to go on next. Using wood to keep the top of the base from being damaged, hammer the top of the base to the bottom. This will make the connection of the two part...

Overall
Would RecommendIt's a smaller-sized mailbox. Perfect for letters, flyers, papers, etc. Not ideal for packages. DO NOT attempt to "pound" the vertical posts into the ground. I did not directly hammer the vertical posts into the ground but placed a 2x4 on top to do so. Even then, the posts became slightly twisted and bent. Dig a 8-12" hole and install vertical posts this way!
