So got it to a shop and the carb was nasty like it was a used carb and the bowl was misaligned. He got it running for the time being but it is still not right because it surges unless you leave the choke about half way. Beware of a fuel leak on start up
Would Not RecommendRead all the owners manual and followed all the start up procedures and it started on the first pull. BUT fuel pored out of the carburetor. Not a trickle, PORED OUT. Lucky it didn’t catch fire. Only did this once, I shut off the fuel valve and inspected everything. Found no visible leaks and started it again. Hasn’t leaked fuel again so not sure what was the cause.

Would Not RecommendI gave it the lowest rating I could. Can't say. Brand new, It leaked gasoline within a few seconds of half filling the generator and was unable to start the ignition. Under warranty, I tried to file a claim online then with store manager and was denied by both. Generac provided an approved service center for assistance, who will p/u and deliver after they service the defect. I hope it will work after that, as LOWE's was NO HELP AT ALL!
