Smart purchase

The purchase and installation process were very easy and professional. I’ve had two occasions since the installation to use the generator during multi/hour power outages, and it has worked like a champ.

I purchased this to replace previously installed unit which was over 20 years old. (Still working perfectly) Case was rusted. New one works perfectly, however WiFi could use improvement.

Had this installed on 4/8, today is 5/20 and it still has never been working. Generac has been no help whatsoever, they're more concerned about selling their next generator, than trying to replace the lemon they gave me with a new one. I do not recommend at all!!

The best investment ever made.

I bought a year ago. Very satisfied, never let us down. The service gentleman was very nice, polite, friendly and professional.

Good Product, But Very Expensive

The only concern was that the installer had difficulty setting up the weekly Exercising. After three attempts, this was corrected and is now working correctly.

Nice, dependable system

We replaced an older “essential” circuits Generac generator with a 24kW whole house system. Very happy with both the installer and the new generator. If I would change anything on it, it would be the lid (very flimsy) and it would be much nicer if it were quieter. Other than those two items we’re very happy with everything.

Problems

I bought it less than a month ago and it doesn’t work. Can’t get anyone to fix it

I purchased this generator a month or so ago, and it has worked flawlessly since installation.

So far, so good!

I have had my generator for about six weeks so far. The installation was quickly and efficiently accomplished. The installation team answered all my questions and explained the operation of the unit. So far, the only experience I have with the unit is when it tests itself every week. I have yet to experience an actual power outage and run on my home on generator power alone.

I’ve had my Generac for a month now. And we have had a couple of power outages and the generac kick right in just what’s needed. So far I am happy with purchase. Hopefully a year from now I’ll be able to add more of my experience.

Generator works fine - WiFi unreliable

The Wifi connection had to be replaced with a module that allowed for Ethernet connection cable. All customers I talked to tell me the same issue. The Wi-Fi will not connect and stay connected. When we have had shorter power outages, I would like the generator to wait at least 20-30 minutes before going back to Utility. It has to be much harder on the equipment going on and off too many times an hour. It has operated fine otherwise.

Bought this a month ago and so far I'm fairly satisfied. Have had a couple of problems with it and still haven't received in paper my paperwork for my 10 year warranty

very reliable but noisy

bought 2 years ago, run it for 83 total hours during different outages and i allways had power in seconds. regret not getting one sooner.

26kw install and testing

Instillation of our 26kw Generator went smoothly. We haven’t had to rely on it yet for any power outages, but it does fire up once a week as scheduled for testing.
