Generac fails this customer
Would Not RecommendHorrible product can't be trusted. Waiting for a 3rd generator install since Aug 3rd 2026. Both have failed mechanically and deemed not repairable by the techs. There is zero sense of urgency from Generac to install a 3rd unit as I am coming up to making my 2nd payment on a dead generator that is nothing but a $13,000 lawn ornament.

, difficult to install app
I bought this generator a year ago, a d if worked great until, unbeknownst to me , my solar contractors fried the control panel. When I had my contractor come out to fix it wasn't functioning. Not your fault. I "m fighting with them to psy for the repair. I just wish the app had given me some kind of notification that it wasn't working by email or phone. Again not your fault it wasn't working.

New 22kw With Transfer Switch
Would RecommendWe have not had an outage yet, but I've tested the transfer functionality twice. Voltage and frequency are in spec. Be sure to watch your installer or you'll end up with something like ours if your brick is not standared. I don't like the TS not flat against the brick. See photos. I hate to wish for an ice storm this winter but.....

Makes the neighbors jealous
Would RecommendA good unit. Once the leak was fixed My unit developed an oil leak shortly after installation Contacted Generac they sent a dealer mechanic out. I believe the oil leaks fixed. I gotta go out and check it.
