No enough temperature control

I bought a GE profile induction cooktop in 2015 and loved it. The glass cracked and I replaced it with this one. I hate this one! Does not have as much control of the temperature as the old one. Either warm or hot! No medium or medium high. Also turns off frequently. Not sure why you had to change a great product. The old one cooked like gas without the mess. This one is more like the old coil stoves!

Working Great

The cooktop works great, I have no problem at all. I had a GE profile Induction range in my other home and it had a small radiant burner for warming which I miss with this model. I also find the volume of the timer alert to be very low and can’t be heard when the cooktop fan is running.

Sizing not accurate

I wasted more than $1,700.00 and Loews support never called back regarding a refund. Now I have a box under my island colleciting dust.

wonderful cook top

Very easy to install. works wonderfully. will need to buy new set of pans though as all are aluminum.

Beautiful, Scratches Easily

The induction cooktop is fantastic - looks great, heats up very quickly. Just changed from gas, so no NOx. Subtracting one star as it is SOOOO easy to scratch - barely two weeks, and despite our hovering, a guest laid a plate on it, and presto, instant scratch.

Great Cooktop

Nice and reactive. Fast. I would love the ability to turn off the burners with the wifi/app

Huge upgrade over electric

Looks great and cooks quickly and evenly. Easy to clean (though it does tend to collect a lot of fingerprints). Touch controls are easy to operate, but when cooking a number of things at once it can be easy to accidentally turn off a burner.

Functional layout; flexible heat control.

Nice cooktop; much faster than gas! We were pleasantly surprised and have not experienced any of the noise/humming issues that others have mentioned.

Heats up pans quickly and it's very easy to clean.

Terrific stove top!

We love the look of our new GE Induction Stove Top. It also cooks so much faster than our electric stove. We’ve only had it for about a month but are happy with our purchase.

Functional

Appears to work well so far. Looks decent and fits cutout properly.

cooktop is warped

The cooktop is warped out of the box. It does not sit flat on the counter top. It's replacing a previous GE cooktop that is not warped. It is warped a little more the a 1/4". I will return.
