Sleek design with intuitive controls

Stopped Working, Terrible Warrantee Service

We really enjoyed our induction stovetop for two years, but it stopped working over the summer. We thought it would be an easy fix since we had the five year extended warrantee through Lowes. After at least five visits from three different technicians over 2.5 months , Lowes tells us that they will not fix it and will only reimburse us for ~$800 via gift card. Obviously, this is much lower than the price of buying a new cooktop. I'd prefer not to pay an additional $1,500 to replace the cooktop ,...

Good if you get one that’s not defective

First cooktop we received the left rear burner would beep but not come on most of the time. I thought ok, just a minor defect get another one. Replaced with complete new one. SAME EXACT problem. This time I gave technicians a chance to fix problem. They came out looked at it, thought they had a fix came back with new control panel and glass. Did not fix. Threw in towel and sent it back. Temperature regulation issues

Terrible when it comes to temperature regulation the dialer is too sensitive so it goes from barely boiling to boiling so hard. The water spits out of the pan Similar issues while trying to sauté veggies it’s either a very low heat or it turns it up so hot that it starts to scorch them. There is no happy medium. V. Cool cooktop!

Run away

It broke after 13 months and GE can’t fix it and won’t replace it. Run as far away from this product as you can.

It's just too delicate to be in a real kitchen.

I've had induction ranges and cooktops for easily 15 years. Samsung, GE, and Frigidaire. This thing is TOO DELICATE. I've broken two of the glass tops on this. In all my other experience with glass and induction I've never had one break so easily. Spending $2k on a cooktop shouldn't require $750/year in repairs. Totally unacceptable experience.

Great product and sleek controls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this has been great so far. We are still getting used to induction, but liking it. My only complaint is that sometime it has a loud hum at high power. I am guessing its because of some EMI and just doesn't have EMI filtering at the power inputs. However, its manageable. Really enjoying the sleek controls look and the easy cleanup.

Love having five burners but my favorite feature is the on stove timer. Also, it was a good excuse to replace our worn out cookware and use our cast iron more.

Great induction cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful product. Heats super fast and is very nice looking. I purchased this product to replace a GE Cafe Induction Cooktop. I love that the corners of the Profile cooktop are rounded so I feel like less likely to be cracked or damaged.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a GE Profile oven/microwave combo and Induction cooktop and both have been game changers! We love the ease of use and ergonomics of the oven/micro, and induction cooking is better than gas! Since we didn't have gas in our neighborhood, we are thrilled with our cooktop.

Awesome when paired with Chef Connect Range Hood

Looks great. Induction works really well and heats up quickly without letting the pans overheat. The safety features for auto shutoff are a nice touch and I absolutely love being able to use the ChefConnect on my GE Range Hood to turn on the lights and fan automatically and shut off after a delay once the cooktop is off. Installation was very easy but the unit is heavy. Configuration of the controls are also very good.

Best cooking surface ever!

I have always been a gas/fire cook but this appliance has changed my approach to making a great meal - fast, safe, clean. Love it!

Haven't cooked a lot yet, but i like the features I have used; burners are a good size -very easy to cook, love the configuration - plenty of space, the controls are amazing (hate knobs) with one finger i can control the heat - smooth, sleek look on the surface - beautiful looking stove top!!
