Hard to clean leaves streaks

Love it except can't clean it without streaks. They really show up with lights on. Had another brand be this very easy to clean but didn't cook even. You two should get together and have a 5 star.

Stopped working after only 6 months

The two right side warmers stopped working after only six months of use.

Worth the money.

I have been very pleased with this. It replaced an older ceramic cooktop that got cracked accidentally. The induction cooking is amazing! I usually have to wait a while to get my large pot of water to boil before I put in the dry pasta. It heated up SO fast! I only wish it had been available in white (because my countertops are white) but since it matches my Advantium oven, it looks great in my kitchen.

Piece of crap

A small spill caused the cooktop to stop working. Called Bodewell (the GE repair company in Nov and after multiple visits with no parts available, no time by the technician to fix the cooktop after coming to our house, incorrect parts ordered - 3 months in we still dont have a cooktop. Do not buy this piece of junk and do not use Bodewell - incompetent top down!

Generally I like it. The big burner is on the front right side, which is where I most prefer such to be, given the layout of my tight kitchen. I do wish it had a matte finish because shiny black glass/ceramic really show every fingerprint, every speck of dust and potentially in the future every little scratch or patch of baked on oil or something.

Great product

Very easy to keep clean, heats rapidly, Like it a ton!

We like it.

The cooktop does exactly what we thought it would. The cooling fans are quiet, which is very pleasing. Pressure cooker is easy, where with gas it was tricky. Even heat to the griddle spanning two burners is yet to be fully sorted. Terrific to have the option to use Plus/Minus or touching the Dial to set the heat. Great Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have never had an INDUCTION Cooktop before and are getting used to it day by day! So far, we LOVE IT. You have the exact heat you want when you set it at the desired heat!!

Frustrating install

The instructions were vague. Some things are a bit cheap (screws, pad strip). The counter overlap could be more. The app setup was confusing and not properly tested. Frustrating.

Clean modern look and excellent performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy with this installed. Very clean, modern look and love how immediately responsive it is. Easy to cook knowing the change I make on the panel dial is immediately changing the cooking temp of the burner. Also like the burner configuration and the flexibility of the two burners that can be combined. Easy to clean surface.

Mostly good cooktop

It's beautiful and works. Mostly. We are at eight months, and I am scheduling service because the WIFI isn't broadcasting, so it broke connection with the app. The good news is that I can still cook. It also is finicky on pan size. If the pan is too small, it will automatically turn off. Finally, it is underpowered. We had a Samsung prior to this, and I could get a pot of water to boil in about a minute. This one takes much longer.

Good performance, but bad surface durability

The cooking action appears to work properly across all burners, including using a griddle pan across the two burner setup. One issue that just cropped up is the appearance of scratches on the surface. We use an approved ceramic cleaner and check our pans. Not working after 3 months

I just had a kitchen renovation and went with this cooktop. I have loved the ease of use and it's functionality. However, after owning it for less than 3 months, it won't turn on. Hoping it's nothing major. I have purchased all GE products in the last year...double oven, microwave and 2 fridges. Hoping they last longer than this one.

Great cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 15 year old electric cooktop stopped working. Looking at what was available we picked up this induction cooktop. First time using one and we love it. It cooks amazingly well, and has all the feature we love. Bridged element, auto-shutoff, and a timer.
