Would RecommendI'm so happy we switched to an induction cooktop. It heats up incredibly fast and is so clean and efficient. I picked this GE model over others because the controls and operation seemed very straightforward (some of the others had very complicated looking controls). Room for improvement
Countertop gasket wasn't pre-installed, instead it came in a crumpled mess. Getting a proper seal was challenging. Also after using it for a few weeks, we find that pans hum, buzz, or vibrate with this cooktop. Multi layer cookware (5+) isn't supposed to do this, however it still does. Not sure if the quality of this GE Profile Induction cooktop is up to par or not.

Would Not RecommendI wasted more than $1,700.00 and Loews support never called back regarding a refund. Now I have a box under my island colleciting dust.

Would RecommendWe had an older GE Profiles induction cooktop. We loved it but after 10 years it stopped working and the replacement part was 1/2 the cost of replacing it. We tried a cheaper brand but it did not compare so we bought this one. So far we are as happy with it as we were with our first one. A little disappointed that there’s no real WiFi control, only a monitor

Would RecommendLooks great but the largest burner is too big for most pots and wastes space. Everything else works fine.

cooktop is warped
Would Not RecommendThe cooktop is warped out of the box. It does not sit flat on the counter top. It's replacing a previous GE cooktop that is not warped. It is warped a little more the a 1/4". I will return.

Super Cooking!
Excellent induction system. It also has several security features for children, or cats that like to walk on it. Warms up right away and cooks everything well.Just a slight learning curve on the heat settings, especially if you’re not used to induction cooking.

Good unit but doesn't live up to expectations
Would RecommendInduction part works as expected. Disappointed with the precision cooking feature. Hestan Cue pans have very limited selection and there is currently no alternative. The pans consume batteries very quickly. Instructions on how to just cook are non existant. Lots of potential with this cooktop but it has a way to go to live up to the hype.
