First unit arrived with several chips in the glass

Awaiting replacement after returning the damaged unit. Chips in the cooktop glass were significantly airgapped from the packaging, so the cooktop most likely left the factory damaged. Will update if replacement arrives without damage

Broken and GE didn’t honor warranty

We ordered the GE profile cooktop and had it installed and it didn’t work properly. Some burners would only partially work, it would cook slower than it should, and sometime burners just wouldn’t work randomly. Do not waste you time

Do not waste your time with this cooktop, it does not work, GE does not care to fix it and it is packaged horribly to begin with. We chose this cooktop for a kitchen remodel based on the listed features and the fact that it is made in the USA. The first cooktop we ordered came in after two weeks in a smashed box, so we had to refuse the order and wait for another. Marginal Acceptability

Does not work well with Allclad stainless steel pans. We’ve used these pans with another brand induction cooktop with much better results.

Too much noise

I purchased this base on my friend's recommendation. we installed it 2 weeks ago. I am hearing very loud noise when I start the cooktop. The noise will increase over the time (which is supposed to be reduced once the pan is heated). I have asked my friends to come and check who are using the same cooktop. Glass Cooktop

I've own the previous model for over 11yrs. My wife accidentally cracked the top and instead of replacing the glass, I thought getting the updated model was a better choice.

Awful cooktop

We hate this cooktop. The burners turn on and off, will only operate if pan is placed precisely on ring. Pans slightly too small or large don’t work.

Easy upgrade of cooktop to induction. Good product

Our primary reason for upgrading to a GE Profile 30" induction cooktop was that the footprint was identical to the previous GE Profile 30" electric cooktop we were replacing. Sleek modern, energy efficient and user friendly.

It looks sleek and very easy to use.

Cooktop

It heats very nice. However pans have to be bigger than burners for heat to come on. I have tried the app numerous times and can't get appliance to load. Overall a quality top.

Snazzy

Just got it installed. Looks great and works very well, compared to my previous electric cooktop.

Heat control

So far so good. I’m really liking the heat control, it’s even and constant. One of the primary reasons we switched from radiant to induction.

Works great, easy to use

I'm so happy we switched to an induction cooktop. It heats up incredibly fast and is so clean and efficient. I picked this GE model over others because the controls and operation seemed very straightforward (some of the others had very complicated looking controls). We are pleased with how simple this is to use, how clean it looks, and how well it operates.
