The induction cook top is just wonderful. Love it.

We needed a new cook top, so we decided top stay with GE, because of the quality and appearance of the product.

Good Controls

Generally good performance. The controls are fairly intuitive and I like that it has a lot of temperature levels. Doesn't seem as sensitive to ferrous materials as my last induction cooktop though. It doesn't seem to work with pans that only have an iron plate on the bottom with non-iron sides.

The worst product and service

I bought this product GE 36" induction cooktop. At first, the touch buttons only worked well for a few weeks. Since I was renovating my kitchen, I did not use that much other than boiling some hot water, so I did not bother to call for repair. After a month, I was finally get ready to cook my meals on it, then, there was the nightmare. WORST COMPANY TO BUY PRODUCTS FROM

I would give multiple negative starts if I could. Dealing with GE was the worst experience in my life. The unit comes advertized with several features, however, some of these features DO NOT exist. For eg multi element timer.One of the main reasons to buy this over the cheaper models was this feature. After MULTIPLE attempts and HOURS spent with GE with MULTIPLE customer service reps, the answer was 'YES, THE FEATURES DO NOT EXIST BUT WE CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT'. This is DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. Great induction cooktop

Heats up very quickly and is easy to clean. Recommend.

Great so far

It’s great. Online it shows the pattern(lines) but it’s much more subtle in person.

Not as good as old one

I reviewed a few weeks ago and thought I would get used to it but I am not! I had the 2015 and loved it. This one cooks cooler, is slow to respond, controls are not as responsive, and it shuts off if it gets hot! I loved my GE 2015 and got a new one when my top cracked without looking at other models. Now I am depressed and broke.

It’s good

Not a fan of the design. Very obviously part of the counter instead of blending in. Older motel had two larger burners this only has one.

Had 2015 induction cook top

I had a 2015 30 inch induction cooktop and fell in love. Like gas but without the mess. Too got cracked and bought a new one but noticed it cooks lower, not as adjustable, turns off and makes noise. What is up. I am a sad

Disappointing

The new cooktop arrived on time but one of the burners did not work properly. It would only heat at medium power setting and cut out when I tried a higher temperature. After running new electrical wiring for the new cooktop and removing and capping off the gas cooktop I had to reinstall the old gas cooktop. Very very disappointed in this cooktop. The best cooktop on the market

This is my second induction cooktop, the first one I had was 10 years old still working but I am updating my kitchen and bought a new induction cooktop.

Responsive,

I love my new induction cooktop; it is so much more responsive than my old cooktop. Just a little puzzled because I thought it would not be hot to the touch. Not a problem since we don’t have little ones in the house.

Induction Wonderful!

Going from regular electric cooktop to an induction is wonderful! Fully enjoying the experience. Wish I had purchased sooner.

Easy-to-use

Very beautiful. Temperature of each burner is right on. Love the timer. Easy clean up.

So far so good

I got my GE profile cooktop to replace a 17 month old competitor induction cooktop that “died suddenly” and after 6 months was still not repaired. I like the burners on the GE but am still adjusting to the controls. I liked the other controls better. Overall, so far it has worked well and I sure hope it lasts a long time!
