Love everything about it!

This induction cooktop is wonderful. It has touch controls with a locking feature and a lightly textured glass top for smear free easy cleaning. I love the instant on and instant off heat (like a gas stovetop) and the sleek smooth surface (like an electric stovetop). Induction costs a little more than gas or electric but it is well worth it.

We’ve had this for over a month now and love it. Easy to operate. There’s a learning curve to switch from traditional electric to induction but it’s worth it. Quiet operation except occasionally a buzz depending on the type of Pan and heat setting.

Less than 2 years old, all the burners shut off

This was a great cook top and I was very satisficed with it. With out warning all the burners shut off after a few seconds but thank god the timer still works. Model PHP9030SJ2SS.

New Technology Excels

We love this new cooktop. It heats faster than gas, has an easily cleanable surface with no knobs to get in the way, and doesn't heat up the kitchen as much as gas or conventional electric cooktops.

Dont buy this cooktop. GE has replaced the boards three tumes and i am still having issues!

This cooktop is my first experience with induction, so there is a learning curve. I’m liking it and enjoy showing off how quickly water boils. The appearance is beautiful and touch controls are responsive. So far clean up is a breeze. Very happy with this purchase.

Definitely Bad Experience with GE Profile

We bought our brand new house in 2009, including upgraded GE Profile appliances. In 2012, it wasn't clear if our cooktop caused (or not) a fired that cost our insurance company way over $100K in repairs to our house. At that time in 2012, we bought once again all GE Profile appliances. End of 2020, two of our cooktop burners had a portion that stopped working. Here we are again buying a new GE Profile Induction cooktop in February 2021 to replace the broken one. Not 4 months into this new cookto...

We love the way the induction cooktop heats up so quickly and how clean the air is after having a gas cooktop.

Expensive repairs - get the extended warranty!

Induction in general is awesome. About this specific cooktop - we are on our 3rd in 9 years. Make sure to get extended warranty - any repair is expensive enough to just not be worth it.

Control lettering difficult to read. Could be a bit larger and color more visible. Would like to have an optional temperature control in degrees in addition to the numeric. Like the induction - very efficient and fast.

This induction cooktop is great for the price. If you’re looking for basic induction with no fancy features it’s perfect.

Induction is so fast!

This cooktop heats cookware quickly, is quiet and not fussy like our single induction burner. I love all of the features and it's sleek look. I will never buy a ceramic cooktop again. Controls are a bit quirky: You can turn the element on and tap the + to get the highest setting to boil water quickly, but you can't turn it down from there. A little odd, but workable.

Works great

I have added this stove top to my home for over a year. It cooks the food evenly and quick. I was a little nervous about initially purchasing because you see reviews that are not positive but i went ahead and I'm very satisfied with that decision. The only thing that i had to do was buy new pots and pans that work with induction stovetops

We love the induction cook top

We've never owned an induction cook top before and really love it! Instant heat and instant off when needed, especially with cast iron cookware.

so far, so good.

have been using about 6 wks. only complaint is that the controls are so sensitive, so that just cleaning/wiping causes the burners to turn on. otherwise, great.
