Ice maker has malfunction

The ice maker cloggs up if you set to crushed ice and the water line in the ice maker freezes up and stops making ice. Just got this in March 2026 and im disappointed. Called Lowes and the lady said there have been multiple calls about this same refrigerator and many have reported the same problem.

Disappointed and Exhausted

We bought the GE Profile French Door Refrigerator in 2024 and loved it at first; until it completely stopped working. It’s been over a month without a fridge, and we’ve had four technician visits with no fix. Dead after a year and a half

Lasted a year and a half. Compressor shot. We got the extended warranty and of course radio silence.

Spacious

It's only been a week but I love the no finger print feature especially when the gradchildren are over !!!

Great replacement

Excellent replacement to our LG that died after 15 years. Very versatile, well designed.

Terrible product

Bought this GE Profile end of May 2026. Delivery no problem. Within 4 days it started rattling and making a clunking noise when the compressor came on. I called Lowes where I bought it. They replaced it within 3 days. Second refrigerator is no better! Less than 2 months later the ice maker intermittently works. The digital display locks up and shows an error when sensing water fill. Buttons randomly stop working. Ice selection flips between cubed and crushed for literally 20 seconds or more. GE...

Worst delivery experience

Worlds worst delivers banged up my New door and left without installing the fridge Completely And just took off . The worst delivery experience I have ever had had !

Lowes delivery is insanely bad

We bought this refrigerator and had it delivered only to have it arrive with the water hose split in two. Ordered another GE as a replacement and it arrived with a broken water filter. Either GE has terrible quality control from factory, Lowe’s warehouse is not careful, or the delivery crew is rough. Not my problem. Almost a month wait for a new fridge and multiple bad ones is a terrible look. I do not plan to buy appliances from Lowe’s anymore as delivery is not reliable.

A large, luxe fridge with a price tag to match

I bought this fridge to replace an LG fridge that was only six years old and that was going to cost $1900 to repair (yeah, I burst out laughing at the repairman on that one). He warned me away from LG fridges since he said their compressors had gone downhill of late and recommended GE, so I did some research and ended up with this model. Small

Not enough refrigerator area kind of misleading. It looks like when you’re looking at it a lot of refrigerator area but definitely too small sad otherwise the refrigerator is beautiful, but it does definitely need to be redone.

Has No door accessories

I love the size of the refrigerator. It did not have any door accessories for condiments. The ones that came with refrigerator was not for this refrigerator. I went back to the store and the supervisor told me to call GE and tell them that the shelves are not for this refrigerator and see if they will let me exchange.
