Great Fridge

Install was easy. Looks great and works well. Make sure you unpack everything before starting up

not happy

Fan issues, circuit board issues, compressor drawing high amps. not going to last long. Fridge is 6.5 yrs. old. when you pay a hefty price for an appliance. you expect it to last. I wouldn't recommend this Fridge. ice build up issues,freezer cold refrigerator warm. JUNK! Shame on you GE!

Do not buy

We've had nothing but problems with the fridge. GE replaced the doors because they were warped from day one. The ice door has been replaced twice and still does not seal. Ice tray leaks and has large chunks of ice build up.

Noisy and poorly made

Installed less than a month ago and makes a consistent and obvious rattling noise. Freezer arm already pulling away from door. This was not a good purchase.

super lighting

We love the lighting. Freezer temperature does well. Wish the lower door shelf was more visible. I do see the step inside the refrigerator. Hard to remove plastic film from edges. I like that it has a similar appearance as my GE wall oven. The water dispenser lever scratches easily. The handle design is easy to clean. Love it.

Great Features

I love this refrigerator! Lots of space, the one shelf is adjustable when you need additional tall space and it is so fingerprint resistant!

Only lasted 2 years

We purchased this item, PYE22KYNFS, in May 2024 and had to replace it in May 2026. However, we have had 3 repair companies come out since December 2025 (replacing various components including refrigerant, refrigerant drier filter, evaporator coil); they couldn't fix it for longer than a few months each, so it really only lasted a year and a half. The symptom was the freezer not maintaining a low temperature resulting in food spoilage and an inability to make ice due to the freezer issue. The ...

NO FINGERPRINTS !

This 3 door refrigerator/freezer has a huge capacity but what I love the most is NO FINGERPRINTS1 Whoever came up with that science is a genius . We only buy GE appliances.

Ice maker issue

Only issue we have is that the ice maker jams. Otherwise very happy with it.

Ice cube clip-on shelves virtually useless.

You could've made the ice cube clip-on shelves 1/2" wide & they would then be somewhat useful. Also, must open both French doors to gain crisper access.

Does not show fingerprints.

This is the same refrigerator that we have had. We just now have a newer model. we feel this is an exceptional unit for us.

Great fridge

I do love this fridge. We added the extra ice maker in the freezer which is so nice since the regular ice maker does not make a ton of ice. There are two things I don’t like about this fridge and they are both with the ice/water dispenser. First there is no backlight so I have to get my flashlight out a lot to see what button to push. Secondly, it doesn’t tell you how many ounces you are getting when you are filling water. My precious ge fridge had those features and I wish this one did. But oth...

GE Profile Refrigerator dented

Great Capacity

This was a replacement for our previous refrigerator which I liked until it gave us a lot of problems twice and was not 5 years old yet. GE service was poor - we were without refrigerator for about a month each time and lost a lot of food. Hope to not have the same problem with this one.

Noisy but good,

The motor is noisier than the 25-year-old Kitchen Aid we replaced, but this unit is pretty good.

GE Profile

Postives include good interior lighting features and quite, consistant compressor operation. Negatives inculde after 3 months, the ice maker needed to be cleared once, bottom draw has become stuck, and the front doors need to be adjusted.

Never buy GE products!!

Nothing but problems! We have had no less than 5 service calls on this refrigerator. Still not fixed. We purchased 7 GE appliances when we moved into our new house. We have had to have service on 5 of those.

From here on out, I will ONLY purchase GE Profile products. Worth every penny!

returned it after 2 days

returned / exchanged for comparable LG unit after 2 days. GE would not chill even after 36 hours
