What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the microwave for reliable heating, attractive design, and intuitive controls. Most highlight quick, even heating with powerful output and effective sensor cooking. Many appreciate the sleek appearance in slate and stainless steel finishes, straightforward installation, and user-friendly features like the add 30 seconds button and quiet operation. Some note strong brand loyalty from long-lasting previous models. However, a small group reports premature failures, loud fans, or door handle breakage within months, raising durability concerns among longtime users. Overall, most customers consider it a dependable, well-designed choice.

Would RecommendThe GE over the range microwave seems to have gotten a little “cheaper” over the years. The door feels a bit flimsier, but overall I’m a happy customer. The one improvement with my newest model is the “ mute” mode when cooking is completed, and the muted touch-pad as well.
No user’s manual included
Would RecommendWhile installing, the Installation Instructions said to use the user’s manual included with the microwave to install the grease filters, but there was no user’s manual included with the microwave. The quick guide showed nothing. Thankfully YouTube was available. However, it was easy to install the microwave where the prior GE microwave was.

Smooth install
Got this as part of a kitchen refresh and it was pretty easy to install. We had to redrill holes for mounting and it takes two people to hold and mount at once. The closing latch is solid, but feels less robust than the older 90s model.
