Ratings & Reviews for GE 18-in Portable Freestanding dishwasher ( Stainless steel ) 12 Place Settings with Condensation Dry , 52-Decibel Standard Sound Level

So easy to use and so quiet.

I hooked it up and it was so quiet...it was awrsome...cleaned very well and i recommend this to anyone with small space...so perfect!!

Great Product.

Great product and very quiet! Cleans well. It is very heavy to pick up, bring a friend😊. Rolls around well though once you get it in the house.

good

yes

Runs very quietly

Very quiet running machine; still waiting for it to complete the first cycle. Feel compelled to write review before load is completed because it took forever to figure out how to start the darn thing! Followed written instructions but buttons pressed did not result in what instructions noted. Please make instructions clear and precise.

Cute

It is cute but the cords are not long at all. Hopefully there is an available extension

Everything is A OK

Just got it and it seems to work just fine. Very pleased.

Great washer with inadequate use instructions

Deception: GE has nothing to do with this product. The wholesaler is a DBA company. Confusion: Use instructions are confusing. If the start button is not activated a few moments after the machine is plugged in the wash cycle will not begin.

Quiet

We’ve only had it for a few days but so far so good. It’s extremely quiet and does the job.

Satisfied

So far it is the perfect size for just 2 of us. Had trouble at first figuring out how to Use it. The controls can’t be seen once door is closed. It took 3 hours on first small load of dishes set on Auto sense and sanitize. Way too long. Set on light it was done in 48 minutes. Normal time. Cleaned very well. Satisfied

Super quiet!

We live in a very small apartment. I was concerned about having a loud dishwasher. It’s super quiet. Like a whisper. And the dishes are squeaky clean.

Great portable dishwasher

For those of us who need a portable dishwasher, this is the one. Easy to move around and hook up and gets the dishes clean every time. Ample room for everyday items. The only drawback is some tall dishes don’t fit, that’s not enough for me not to give a stellar review

The hose issue needs to be addressed.

I love the size and the overall product. The downside is that I am totally irritated every time I use it because the hoses can not be fully inside the unit when not in use.

Works well

So far it works great! Dishes come out clean and dry. Much faster and cleaner than my previous portable dishwasher

I hate doing dishes

Great product. Love the stainless steel finish. Can't wait to try out the dishwasher.

Almost like having a built-in.

It's a good product. I'm happy with it's performance.

Perfect size.

Great little washer, would of loved a better set of wheels to help it roll around easier. Other than that, it sure has a lot of space for 18 inches. Very easy process being able to hook up and use.

Mighty for its size.

It's a great washer and gets the job done. The only thing that I would have different is the wheels. They just tend to stick when trying to roll around. Other than that, it helps you with dishes and doesn't have much to say about it :) Great little washer.

No Garbage Disposal

I purchased this machine thinking it was the ideal machine that included a garbage disposal and a water heat function. Upon receiving the machine, I was stunned to see that it has a filter and not the disposal. Still a great little dishwasher and takes care of all that's needed in my house but as I have 2 fractured vertebrae, the filter is a bit tough to clean.

Time saver in the kitchen

This dishwasher is the perfect size for my small kitchen. I’m so glad I don’t have to do dishes anymore. The dishwasher does a great job even on the light cycle. Thanks GE

Read All the Directions

This is a great dishwasher. I almost didn’t buy it because of the various issues people talk about in these reviews, but after reading all the info that comes with it, it’s clear 85% of the problems were user error. Download the pdf on this site and follow the instructions! Prime the pump, use a rinse agent, don’t use cheap powder detergent, load correctly, etc. I use a rinse aid and open the door after the cycle ends, and after the steam pours out, your dishes are dry and your glassware is spo...
