Ratings & Reviews for GE 18-in Portable Freestanding dishwasher ( Stainless steel ) 12 Place Settings with Condensation Dry , 52-Decibel Standard Sound Level

Love this dishwasher!

Great dishwasher. Great buy! Love the portability!

Perfect little dishwasher

I’ve only had this dishwasher for a little while but I love it! It’s smaller sized which is what I wanted for my space. I would say it fits a 4 person place setting perfectly.

So quiet!

I am in love with this dishwasher. It is exactly what I needed and I wish I had purchased one 5 years ago. Runs so quiet and does a great job washing the dishes.

Better than no dishwasher, yet a chore to use

Look, the concept of a portable dishwasher is already kind of raggedy. It’s a big rolling appliance that requires a bunch of steps and prerequisites—as many as a built-in, just a little less invasive cabinetry-wise. If you’re using one, you’re probably in an older house. Are you really going to install its own dedicated outlet within reach of the short cord? No, you’ll have to use the shortest 14/3 extension cord you can get away with. You’re also not supposed to use these things with a side spr...

I like it!

Used it twice now and I like it, easy to use and does a good job getting the dishes clean.

Drain hose kinks often

Washes fine. Hose kinks often and makes it so machine doesn't work. Even though the machine hasn't moved. The bottom rack seems like it was designed by someone who has never used a dishwasher before.

Small but effective

Even on shortest cycle cleans dishes. Needed to buy expensive detergent t for best results.

DO NOT BUY THIS

The dishes are always soaking wet unless I use jet rinse dry. The dishes come out dirty (I rinse everything first) and have black mold looking spores on it. This is a terrible product.

Amazing dishwasher, better than built in!

Easy to use, great built in features, water heater feature/sanitize. Throughly cleans even in the light setting. Beats the older built in unit.

Quiet, space saver & amazing washing performance!

Love, love, love this dishwasher! It’s extremely quiet, washing performance is superb, better than my old built in one. I will update as I continue to use it. Fits perfectly and saves space and can move it around when I need more room in the kitchen, genius!

Great

Great for apartment with no dishwasher! Small enough that it doesn’t take up too much space

Works as expected.

Just the right size for a two person household. Near silent operation. Easily stored.

Good investment

Does the job; way better than killing my back standing in front of a sink for hours. Cleans very well, but the drying feature could be a little better. Fits a ton of dishes for a small portable. It’s the perfect size for our small kitchen and the stainless steel is gorgeous.

This appliance has improved my life and marriage

I absolutely love this dishwasher. I was hesitant to take the plunge but I am definitely happy I did. I shopped around and saw many less expensive models but I am very happy I went with this one. It is very easy to use and looks great. It connects to the kitchen very easy with the right adapter and is a pleasure to use. This appliance has genuinely and considerably improved my life. Eliminating almost all of the hand washing of dishes is a blessing. I looked and researched many different ones ...

Difficult to use and not what I ordered.

Difficult to use. You must keep track of the time because there is no water stop control. Dishes do get clean but starting the cycle is tricky. thought I was actually buying a different brand but this is what Best Buy delivered.

Super Quiet

This dishwasher is super quiet and cleans great. Well worth the price

It washed fine the first time. Now it has water sitting in the bottom and it will not run through. Soon as I push start it beeps and stops. The water that is in the bottom is leaking out. What can I do to resolve this, am I doing something wrong that it stopped working already

Perfect size

I love my 18” dishwasher. It fits perfectly in my kitchen and the dishes come out spotless. The only thing is it’s hard to put the water connection hoses back in . It seems really tight. Overall I would definitely recommend it.

Nah

Does not wash dishes as well as I would have hoped. A little water leaks on the floor underneath the machine after every wash so I have to keep a dish rag on the floor near it when it is running. The top spinning sprayer broke off just a few months after purchase. Design flaw in the The control panel that tells you how many minutes are left in the cycle cannot be seen without opening the door and canceling the time remaining so you don't know how much time was remaining.

Portable Dishwasher GE Model #GPT145SSL1SS

WOW out of the box shipped to my home, this portable dishwasher is AMAZING. Compact yet quite deep and holds many dishes, pots, and pans. There is not one item I dislike about this machine. It has been installed in my RV as a portable dishwasher and it fits in my kitchen superbly. Installation was a snap and quick. I love that the unit is on castors to make rolling from the storage location to the sink a breeze. Being portable we just simply secure the unit when the RV is in transit with r...
