Would RecommendNecessary for 'stacking' - but I really wish it tied the FRONT DOWN more, rather than just the back, and padding on the sides. It would have made moving the 'stacked unit' as one easier. $75 for 2 pads and 4 brackets is UGLY HIGH, and frankly WAY TOO MUCH, but they work. And there is no 'noise' between the units when either are running.

Would RecommendIt was exactly the right part sugested by the salesman Sadly the two gentlemen that came to my home had no interest in stacking the beautiful set of washer and dryer They refused telling me i had the wrong stacking kit and tossing the washer manual under my front porch leaving it there when i called them looking for it he said oh sorry i dropped it under your porch.

Good kit... dryer looks a bit too forward but OK
Would RecommendWorks as Stacking kit but on our GE appliances the dryer looks a bit too far out on top (thought it is almost flush with the washer below). More of an optical illusion but if they had made the kit a bit less wide, the dryer could have been farther back and would have looked better I think. Took one star off for this cosmetic issue. Other than that stacking kit does its job.
