GE® ENERGY STAR® Dishwasher with Front Controls

The dishwasher was installed when we purchased the house. Works great, we have a GE dishwasher at our current home an it works great there also.

Poor rack design and rusting

Amazing dishwasher overall but we have not had it more than a year and a half and the racks of the dishwasher are rusting so badly they are staining our dishes and they are braking off the rack

Not a good option

This dishwasher came with my brand-new Stanley Martin home. It seems to clean "ok", nothing impressive. The bottom rack does not roll in and out well; it is always coming off the track, so to speak, as there is no track. It feels like it was cheaply built. I would not have bought this. And interestingly, to post a review, you have to agree to receive emails, which you can opt out of.

Don’t purchase.

This dishwasher was the one that came with our new build home…. If I had a choice I would’ve never put this in my house. The dishes Are NEVER dried, the top and bottom racks have rusted, overall would never purchase this dishwasher.

Poor experience

Shortly after a year of owning it, the motor went out. I replaced the motor, ran fine for about a month, than the spin arm fell off and almost burned my house down. Now I sit here again with no dishwasher .

Cheap, lacks durability

This dishwasher came installed with our new home build, but it has been disappointing from the start. It never cleaned dishes thoroughly and consistently left them wet, even after a full cycle. Certain wash cycles would intermittently fail to run, which made it unreliable for everyday use. After just two years, it stopped working completely. Overall, it feels cheaply made, lacks durability, and does not perform as expected. I would not recommend this model.

Builder Installed Unit

This was a home builder installed unit, not of the highest quality and not what I would have purchased. Seems rather cheaply made of plastic material, long wash cycles, and not the quietest. Most likely will replace after the warranty expires with a better product.

Basic entry level appliance

Doesn’t feel solid when you shut the door. It is good enough, but definitely cheaply made.

Cycle Runs Long & Door Seal Issues

Unfortunately, this dishwasher has been frustrating to use. The wash cycle often seems to keep running longer than expected, and the door seal pops out very easily. When the seal shifts, water leaks onto the floor, which is a big concern and requires constant checking. When it runs properly it cleans dishes fine, but the seal design feels weak and unreliable. Great product

Great dishwasher for sure A+ It is quite and cleans great.

Rusty

The whole unit is rusty on the inside especially the baskets that hold the dishes. I don’t even want to use it because I don’t want the rust coming off on my dishes. Yes we clean the whole unit by itself but obviously that’s not really helping.

AVOID This is NOT The Dishwasher You Want

I've installed several of these in apartments and from the start I noticed the wheels on the bottom rack have issues, they will not remain in the built-in path, once loaded this gets worse. Every resident with this model complains. Every dishwasher of this model we have, he racks begin to rust within months. Then the next issue that occurs at about 6-9 months of normal use is the area on the bottom rack above the heating element begin to deform or melt, and rust. Even after making 100% sure thes...

Pretty Good Appliance

So far this washer works pretty good. It’s not very loud, and it cleans the dishes well. It is hard to tell when the rinsing dispenser is full. It hold large pans at the bottom pretty good and the controls are easy to use once you understand which cycles can be used together. My water bill has not increased so it seems very energy and water efficient.

Machine is extremely noisy and does not dry very well.

Seems to a decent job but very flimsy, hard to close, not easy to see lights on the control panel. Needs to dry on high heat to get dry. Could be quieter.

Problems with NEW dishwasher

Dishwasher installed in new construction home. We have problems periodically ever since we moved in - leaks a good bit of water onto floor on right side and wheels keep falling off.
