I don’t know why I keep buying these

Like many others, had the same issues. Incorrect syncing, remotes inconsistent, but the worst part is two of the three boxes are dead, 1 season out of the box. Bought 6-7 total. Don’t waste your money. You’ll be lucky to get a year out of them

I've bought 5 boxes of these and right out the box already having issues. Some lights didn't turn on, and then they completely stopped working. 2 boxes only work, but for how long. unfortunately, it's too late to return them.

Worst Christmas lights

I was so excited to have lights I could keep up all year, however Lights didn’t last a couple weeks, all 4 strands were broken before Christmas! Worst customer service, telling me I have to pull out every bulb to check, check the outlets, check fuses etc. she then told me to pay shipping to return the product for their team to diagnose the issue, then they will be shipping back to me no charge. Complete waste of money

The GE color effects lights are complete garbage and Lowes is the worst store on the planet with zero customer service and the return lady has a personality similar to a rock. I purchased GE lights thinking higher quality they lasted less than a month and went out. I checked every bulb and every fuse. Lowes will not take back even though they will take back any other used product on the planet with no questions at all. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

Product is junk

This product looks fantastic when you first put it up. The longevity of this product is awful. Keep having to replace the whole light stands after using two years. This year all the 2022 lights no longer work. Over half my light strands went out this year so I am going to replace them all next year. Just not a well made product. They offer a replacement repair at $20/strand for shipping. Those only lasted one time use. I’m over it. This is only about the large bulb C-9s. The little are fine.

Garbage

Bought 2 32ft strings one quit working after 2 weeks the other works when it wants to. Checked all bulbs and connections seem fine. Took them down to return and Lowes won't refund. They say christmas items can't be returned after christmas. $100 down the drain. Thanks Lowes should have read the reviews.

Crap!!!!!!!!

These lights are pure garbage. They are extremely difficult to sync, the lights change to to different colors out of sync and they only last a year. Worst product for the price. I do not recommend.

Absolute garbage

I have regrettably messed with these lights for the 5 or so years and they aggravate me to the point of no end. I have bought many sets over the years to replace the ones that have gone out and I’ve had it this year! WORST $500 SPENT, LASTED ONLY ONE SEASON

Bought 10 of these in Xmas 2022, all worked and the house looked amazing.... we took them down and put them in their individual plastic box and arranged them nicely; i even stored them in my closed so they would not have to be in the hot attic. Fast forward to today 11-29-23, took them out and was super exited to start arranging them, and come to find out only 4 out of the 10 worked. I checked the bulbs and changed the fuses and nothing. JUNK

We bought 5 atrands of these lights that worked for one season. Went to use them this season and none of them work. They won't even turn on. I've tried everything. Biggest waste of money! Do not buy these.... you'lll be sorry you did. It makes me sick that there is nothing I can do to get my money back. In the trash they go!

DO NOT BUY

Bought these Xmas of 2022. Only had one string but the colors did not always sink up as they should. I did not mind it so much but when the strand went completely out a few weeks into the season that was a problem. I tried to trouble shoot last year with no success. This is the second year attempting to use them. Year 1 we never had 1 stand the same color. Should have returned them then. Now we want to use them them for the second time and NONE of the strands turn on! Called their support and we need to send them in at our own cost. We won't get them back before Christmas and working with their support people was painful. Language barrier to say the least

Do not buy!! Waste of time and money

Wish I read reviews before spending $300 on “higher quality” GE lights. Worked for a month, lights not synchronized, bulbs out. Now won’t even turn on. Almost got a divorce over checking bulbs. Forget about asking about warranty or even Lowe’s to return, easier putting into the trash can. Thanks Lowe’s for selling another terrible product with all these bad reviews.

Don’t buy. If I could give 0 stars I would. Paid over 50 bucks for a strand of these lights. Used one time and liked them. The next time I tried to use them they wouldn’t turn on. Owned them less than 3 months. Checked the remote including the voltage of the battery. Tried everything. Just a piece of junk that is going in the garbage

Waste of Money

When the lights function, they are pretty cool. But they do not stand up to outdoor conditions. I live in AR which has pretty moderate weather. First bought Xmas 2021. 40% of the lights went out. I sent them back for an exchange direct to the company as there is a warranty, (which cost me $$ for shipping). Thought I would buy a few additional boxes Xmas 2022. Same thing. Absolutely terrible!!!

These lights are a disappointment! For starters $50 a box definitely over priced I spent $250 to just run my gutters and nothing else. Then the bugs set in NOT A SINGLE STRAND SYNCS TOGETHER!!!! AND IF YOU HAPPEN TO GET THEM TO THE BUILT IN TIMING IS JUST A FEW SECONDS OFF AND THEY WONT BE FOR LONG!!!! As if that's not enough the bulbs just fall out! Do not last

Multiple lights went out within the first week of them being up. Over time they would randomly not work at all then would come back on for a short time then go back out again. I would not recommend buying them!

do yourself a favor and do not buy. don't even last a full year and customers service stops responding once trying to get their product warranted.
