Ratings & Reviews for GAF Liberty Cap Sheet 3.28-ft W x 34.0-ft L 100.0-sq ft White Roll Roofing

Love this expensive stuff!

It simplifies the job significantly, although the price is up there!

GAF Liberty Underlayment

This product is amazing. It is very easy to install, there is no mess and clean up is a breeze. This was my first attempt at re-doing my roof and I nailed it. I still have to put the Cap sheet on but I see no problems with it.

Easy Peasy

I also bought the GAF material that goes under the top sheet. This was pretty easy to install, but it's heavier than the bottom sheet, so just beware when hauling it up a ladder. Both items I ordered online from Lowes because HD didn't carry the bottom sheet. I'm very happy with the results and would recommend it.

Please read product description before buying

The only bad reviews for this product are from individuals that stated they used this product on flat roofs. In the product description it states DO NOT USE on roofs with less than a 2:12 pitch. And they want to know why there was major water intrusion when it rained. Before buying any product you have to read the specs and description to make sure the product is made to do what you want it to do.

if u no what ur doing with this bullet proof but u can't give it to some homeowner and expect no issues they will screw it up and then it a bad product when it's not great product

GAF Liberty peal and stick roll roofing

This has been the product of choice for several roofing projects on low slope roofs over the past several years. Once in place, it stays put and seals around fasteners so leaks are prevented. I like it much better than regular roll roofing, although It is more expensive and can be a bit tricky to get the backing off and get it down smoothly - especially in hot weather. I have found it easier to work with in cooler weather with temps in the mid 40s (F) to low 50s. The longer length of the pie...

Square footage incorrect

This AD says 112 sq ft. Product in box is 100sq ft. I needed extra 3 square foot more!

Did the job.

The product worked as intended. Easy roll out and good adhesion. Lowe's employee hit my truck with the forklift when they went to load up someone else, while I was waiting for them to load up my stuff.

great for chickens

I use roll roofing for my chickens. to much hard rain in florida on a flat roof.

What a disaster!

We used this product according to directions on a large section of flat roof. The first time it rained, we woke up to water pouring in along every seam! We now have to replace ceilings in three rooms, and carpet in two due to the water damage. Please don't buy this product.
