Missing Vital Feature

This dishwasher gets the job done. That’s it! It’s still kinda loud. And most importantly, you CANNOT turn off heated dry. I have lost so many things from the heat. This should be a basic feature. It was on the cheap unit I bought 15 years ago that this one replaced.

Love my new dishwasher

IT WASHES!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my new Frigidaire dishwasher when the old dishwasher in my house died. The new Frigidaire was easy to install and works like a dream! Easy to hook-up, the whole process took about 45 minutes to go from the old one installed - to removed - to the new one installed and washing! My new dishwasher cleans so much better than the old one! And with special financing at Lowe's, this was a definite "W"!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit has functioned well since installation about a week ago. It is much quieter than our previous dishwasher. In fact, you can barely hear it running. The front panel controls are easy to see. It seems to clean dishes very well so far.

Very basic dishwasher

This is a very basic dishwasher. I don't know if it will last 40 years like the old Frigidaire dishwasher that this new dishwasher is replacing. If you are looking for a dishwasher that is super quiet and has a bunch of different wash setting then don't buy this dishwasher. It only has 2 wash settings and is considered loud compared to other dishwashers that cost only $50 dollars more. I think if you have a rental unit and want a simple dishwasher for a tenant this would be a okay because it si...

Couple of things I dislike about this dishwasher

I've noticed a couple of things I've decided I don't like. The silverware basket is to small IMO. And it's to dark inside. our last dishwasher was white inside. I didn't realize what a difference it makes. our kitchen is a little dark sometimes. It's 24 inches wide as was our last one, but it seems a couple of inches shorter inside. The top rack doesn't have as much height to it either, it's to short for tall glasses etc. Also you can't turn off the dry cycle.

I Like the washer ! Installer did a fantastic job

Dishwasher cleans well but is a little noisy. But I run it at night so is ok. Installer did a fantastic job but was unable to install my microwave because the “installers” who were supposed to remove the old stove didn’t know how & left the new stove across the kitchen from the old one. So I had 2 non working stoves & no way to install the microwave over the stove. But my dishwasher installation was great

Good for the price.

Took me about 30 minutes to hook it up and set the level. Cleans very well and not noisy. Drys the dishes and pots and pans very well. It holds about average amount of dishes for a family of four or bigger it will be a little small unless you don’t mind doing several loads. My last dishwasher lasted about 10 years so if I get that out of this one I would be happy.

Leaks!!!

I bought this dishwasher to replace an older Frigidaire that leaked. I installed it and after the second wash it started leaking from the front door. I thought maybe the dishwasher wasn’t even or the door wasn’t sealing. I did another wash and it didn’t leak. This process continued and made it impossible to determine where exactly it’s leaking from since it could go several cycles without leaking. I would NOT recommend this product. Hopefully Frigidaire will refund me since its only 5 months old...
