The quality is excellent. It looks really professional installed. The instructions were not very good. The need for you to buy screws and special drill bits was only mentioned in the video and once you open the directions, a little frustrating if you open the box ready to install.

They are very easy to install

I ordered one for our garage steps and liked it so much we ordered another one for the steps in front of our house

Sturdier than I thought it was going to be! We decided to install into concrete using 12" rods. Either install method requires a roto-hammer drill which we had to rent. Can't get it done with a drill most people have, even a good one. The concrete adhesive sets faster than expected, so you have to work fast. Concerned about the aluminum getting too hot to touch and also how water is going to drain since there are uncovered holes were the cross bar meets the posts.

Helpful and attractive

I installed this handrail on concrete block steps. It provides good stability for persons using the steps and minimally impacts my view of the area from my window. Mounting with four bolts is more satisfactory than using the threaded rod technique. The latter requires experience in using an adhesive and more precise drilling. The attractive handrail appears to be a durable product that has improved the safety of using steps.

These were super easy to put together as well as install. I just bought 2 more for my back stairs so hopefully it will go as well as the first 2!

I would reccomend the railing. Good design and well made. The only thing I think needs improvement is the way the cover plates are attached together. The plastic push button does no work. I used 2 small zip ties instead. More secure attachment.

What I liked about this rail was its adaptability. I had to modify it to fit my customer's specific needs (and space), but I was able to cut the top and middle rails to give it a narrower footprint. Other than having to pre-drill extra holes, it worked just as it was supposed to. The top rail has end caps that I removed and replaced into my newly cut ends. The posts mounted to the concrete steps easily.

Handrail

Functional and relatively easy to set up. Seems stable. It's nice the way it can adjust to various angles of inclination. A rotary hammer drill helped a lot to get the holes made quickly. Rather overpriced for what it is, though.

Nice railing easy install.

Nice railing. Being mid 70's I needed it. Glad I got it. Looks good and will prevent a fall. Lowes inventory control and customer service is another story.

Works well, easy to install.

The installation was straight forward. Originally planned to use the single 1/2 inch threaded stud in concrete for each leg but the studs seemed hard to thread in so went with 4 concrete anchors per leg instead Took a little while to drill the eight anchor holes in concrete because did not use hammer drill. Recommend hammer drill if you plan to install in concrete.

Dimensions

According to the help person the dimensions are as follows: The rail is 48.24 in. wide (length) and 35.54 in. tall. From the bottom to the mid-rail it is 20.74 in. The mid rail is 1 in. wide. The two posts are 1.50 in. wide.

Just what we needed.

Not a heavy or robust railing but just what we needed for our elderly guests to negotiate a couple steps. I installed it myself but requires a hammer drill and the necessary tools to drive screws into concrete. We will see how it holds up.

Good and bad

I purchased two of the handrail kits.The first kit I opened had incorrect parts, the end post were identical, making a stairway application impossible. I opened the second kit to find all parts ok, assembly and installation was simple and easy and the finished result was great. My main problem is with the two week delay in delivery, I returned the defective kit but now have to wait another two weeks to finish my project. A total of four weeks to receive materials is too long.

Sturdy hand rail!

Bought & installed in Sept. 2019. It was fairly easy to install in my cement front stairs. This hand rail is very sturdy. I was having difficulty climbing the stairs with no railing. This works great & I feel safe climbing the stairs holding on to this hand rail. Actually thinking of buying another one for other side of stairs.

Good looks, good quality

Was easy to install and looks great. Found this by accident surfing the net and was very glad I found it. I do not like railing that is busy with all those uprights.

Good hand rail, could have higher quality control

The rails look nice. It was obvious that the quality control is not the highest. There was an extra hole drilled in one leg and a big scratch on one leg also. Overall, they look really nice and installed quick.

Attractive addition to my front steps. Hard to find 4 foot railing for short step.
