Would RecommendEasy to install - used old base. Love not having to remember to change batteries twice a year! But they should be "blown out" with compressed air each year to prevent dust/spiders from accumulating or setting them off.

Would RecommendEasy to switch from my old detectors to the new one. Also, the two pack was convenient since I had to replace 4 detectors. Looking forward to not having to replace the batteries twice a year, due to the height of the detectors, a ladder is required to reach them.

Would RecommendYou must have basic protection! These things are good for 10 years I've relied on them for the last 10 years and will rely on for another 10 years. Taking too hot of shower has set them off, burning food in the kitchen has set them off, I have set them off intentionally testing them, they always work. When they come to the end of the life they always let me know. Take them off the wall and clean them every once in awhile and you will always be good to go. Wonderful product. I would definitely ...
