Time to replace your outdated smoke detectors
Would RecommendInstallation is straight forward. Didn't fit existing BRK flange so, I did have to replace the flange (which is included), the old one was slightly discolored so didn't mind. Plugged into existing wiring. Can't really say how well it works as the house hasn't caught on fire since installing them. No false alarms. Good piece of mind that I (hopefully) won't have to deal with them for a decade.

Would RecommendI like the fact these smokes will satisfy the new requirement coming June 30th, 2024. I am a Master electrician. I have researched and installed many smokes. Photoelectric are my preferred smoke alarms, however, these are the newest version even though they are the ionization type. Less nuisance and quick acting. I installed six smokes for my Aunt. Another benefit is the 10 year battery. Great for vaulted ceilings...
