Would RecommendBeen looking for a concealed PVC plank/trim method and this EXACTLY fills the bill. For you DIY'ers- if you are installing a trim piece made up of multiple individual pvc components...they can be PVC-glued to each other to form a solid piece and then cut/mitered/installed as a single piece- using THESE fasteners!!

Worst ever
Would Not RecommendHorrible. When the screws do set it's great, pop the plugs in and it looks great. The problem is only 80% actually do that. And if you need to back it out, good luck. You must fluctuate from forward and reverse and maybe use a pry bar.some set quickly most do not and it takes so long for the crew to even penetrate the azek. Never again would I consider buying this product.

Perfect for vinyl!!!
Would RecommendEverything you need in one kit, screws, special bit and plugs. Not found in the hardware section, located with the vinyl material.

PVC screws, driver and plugs
Would RecommendIf you are using a regular screw/drill driver set the torque clutch to drill and make sure you have the rubber stop on the driver bit! These work best with a impact driver though. If you fallow the directions the plugs will set flush with the board making the hole almost invisible. Highly recommend these.

Nails would be easier than these screws.
Would Not RecommendAfter using caulk and other brand trim screws i found these one day and wished i hadnt. I was replacing rotten facia and one self caused problem i had was that i missed a joist with a screw and the screw wouldnt sink in so i tried to back it out and it wouldnt so i tried to take the board down to remove it and none of the other screws would back out either, now they all seem to be reamed out. Previous brand screws back out quite easily and are not as delicate.
Excellent product - designed perfect for the task
Would RecommendProduct is dynamite. Perfectly covers the screw head when the screw is seated deeply, as designed, using the supplied bit. The bit is DESIGNED to seat the screw about 1/8 inch below the surface. Then the small white “cap” can be tapped into place. Very hard to see the cap once it is seated to the right depth. I very seldom find a product this well designed to fit a unique purpose. When driving a screw, drive it deep. Do not slack up when the screw gets close to the surface. If you do, t...

Excellent fasteners! Better than nails.
Would RecommendThese are great to install PVC brick moulding. They are easy to install, rust resistant, and conceal great with the plug. The bit the comes with it is easy to hold the screws in while you drive it in, and makes the perfect size counter hole to seat the plug in. I wouldn't install PVC moulding without them. They may be a bit expensive, but well worth it.

easy to go in hard to remove.
Would Not RecommendI really wish i would have just used nails because these strip to easily. They look good installed but if you have to remove the trim for any reason you will likely find that some will not come out. I dont recommend them because the screws are to easily stripped. I used an impact driver and a drill with the same results. Some are easily removed while others must be removed using a multi tool from behind along with vise grips. The company has a video on how to remove stripped screws so that shou...
PVC Screws
Would RecommendI love how they countersink into the PVC and the plugs make it almost invisible where the screws are.
First time user of PVC boards
Would RecommendI had to replace a piece of arched wood trim over our front door. The Cortex screws and caps were an ideal solution for the use of PVC boards on an outside piece of trim that is in constant rain and weather.

Practice first.
Would RecommendThese are great for hiding the bolts, but practice first in a hidden spot. My first one was pretty ugly until I figured out what was going on. After that, it was gravy. These look great.

Perfect for the purpose
Would RecommendSee our review of the pvc brick mould. These are excellent but expensive because we had to buy so many. Our only criticism is that they should come in a smaller pack. However they come with the covers and setting tool and are super easy and when you set the plugs you can barely see them and they are weathertight. We'd buy them again any way because they beat having to caulk all the screw holes
