What Customers Are Saying
The aluminum siding nails have mixed reviews. Some customers found them suitable for their projects, reporting they "worked well." However, many others experienced issues with the nails bending or breaking, especially when trying to use them on harder materials like plywood or OSB. The nail heads also tend to rip off during removal. While the nails may be adequate for softer materials like vinyl siding, they are not recommended for denser or hardened wood surfaces. Customers suggest using a different type of nail, such as roofing nails, instead.

Would Not RecommendORDERED ONLINE WITH STORE PICKUP. BOX ONLY HAD ABOUT 20 NAILS IN IT. RETURNED AND REPLACED WITH ROOFING NAILS. USED TO PUT 7/16 OSB BOARD UP.

Nails that stick
Would RecommendFor aluminum nails, they're decently strong. Good enough for securing vinyl siding to the house.

Grip-Rite 12-Gauge Aluminum Siding Nails
Would RecommendMy only complaint is that this was the smallest box I could purchase. I only needed a dozen nails at most for my repair.

It's ok....
Would Not RecommendNail is decent but the head breaks off way to easily! If you don't hit the head dead on, it will snap.....

vinyl siding nails.
Would RecommendWhat do you say about nails. They are straight and strong. Goes through the siding without much effort.

They are the right nails but...
Would Not RecommendWhile these are the correct nails to install vinyl siding because they are aluminum and won't corrode or rust, they are flimsy. You better hit it straight or you'll bent the nail. Also, heaven forbid you have to take these out. They are ring shanked all the way. The heads will pop off if you try to take it out so you're better off just trying to get the siding off and pound the nail in the rest of the way. I tried these once and will be finding some type of aluminum screw.

Really nailed my project
Would RecommendAfter a mean ol' wind storm blew into town my father-in-law ordered me up his 23 B.C. manufactured ladder to his roof. The task: fix some aluminum wrap that was blown off. Being ALUMINUM these nails won't rust but they sure do enjoy bending when they're about half way in. The heads also rip off at the slightest thought of you using the claw side of the hammer to pull them out. Besides all that I didn't die, I didn't fall off the ladder and the nails worked once I pounded them in sideways.
