It didn't fit :(

I have a GE refrigerator and it uses the MWF filter. I've used GE and FiltersFast replacement filters with no problem. Unfortunately, the Everydrop filter did not fit! I had to return it and get the GE filter.

Not a replacement for GE MWF

I returned these filters because they did not fit in my 2017 GE fridge. They are too big in diameter to fit.

Filtered or bottled?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to buy a new refrigerator and for the first time, I had no experience in replacing the filters. It did not turn out to to be as difficult as it seems. It was very easy to replace and the water tastes very pure. It tastes filtered and clean. I couldn't tell the difference between it and bottled. Highly recommend!

This filter was $20 cheaper than the Samsung filter we normally purchase so decided it was worth a try. Installation was no different than the Samsung filter. So far water seems to taste just as good. Would definitely purchase again assuming it will last as long as the Samsung which is 4-6 months depending on use.

Doesn’t fit

I spent 30 minutes trying to install this replacement filter. Temporarily put the brand name one back in 3 seconds like usual installation. Returned this knockoff for a refund. I will stick with the GE brand from now on.

Great filter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This filter is great. It fits and works perfectly. It’s just as good as the filter that automatically came with my fridge. The ice and water come out tasting great and I don’t have to worry about anything I don’t want in the water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for our GE fridge and it fit perfect to replace our filter. Quick and easy install, no mess. Only thing I can’t say is if it will last the same amount of time as others. We typically get 6 months so we shall see.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this about a month ago and it is quite great. The water tastes fresher. The ice cubes seem clearer. My family drinks a ton of water and we have not had to change the filter yet. So it lasts a long time too.

Nice filter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This filter makes my water taste so much better! It is visibly more clear and tastes cleaner than most water bottle company's waters. They are fairly inexpensive as well so I plan to keep purchasing these for years to come. Makes great ice, too!

Worked great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Value Filter G1 works great in my refrigerator. It has been in there for over a month and is still working great. The water and ice taste great and clean because of this filter and believe me that is big because Arizona water does not taste great at all. I will be buying the same filter when I need to replace this one.

Works great

It seemed like a bigger job than it turned out to be. It was very easy to replace and the water tastes so pure. I’be always been sensitive to the taste of tap water and usually can’t drink much of it other than desperate situations. This tastes filtered and clean and I can’t tell the difference between it and bottled.

Works As Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Filter was easy to install and seems to work just fine. It's less expensive than the name brand (GE or Whirlpool) and appears to do the same job. I have only had it in the fridge for about a month, so unsure about the longevity. A normal (brand) filter lasts about 5 months in our home, so as long as this one lasts about the same amount of time, it will be a good bargain.

It's doing its job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed it a couple of weeks ago and it's definitely doing its job.. It took me and my husband awhile to fit it in place other than that we are happy. We have kids and have well water, so having clean tasty water is a big thing for us. You can definitely taste the difference. Will definitely get this product again.

great water filter
