What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the rustic aesthetic and affordability, with many loving the natural imperfections and final stained or painted appearance. However, significant quality control issues dominate feedback—reviewers report widespread damage including broken tongues, splits, and warped edges, with many stating only 1-3 usable planks per six-pack. High waste rates of 20-50% force customers to purchase substantially more material than planned. Despite these frustrations, most find the lightweight, easy installation and low cost worthwhile for achieving an attractive rustic look, though careful board selection is essential.

Economy price with high dollar results
Would RecommendThis product is just what we were looking for. Stained and polyurethaned it gave us the cozy cabin look we wanted!

Terrible for one reason, Quality controll
Would Not RecommendIf you purchase these, they are ok if you are willing to sift through each package for the few good boards. They come in a pack of 6 and you will be lucky to find 3 that are usable full planks. They are either machined poorly or have improper packaging. Between knots that leave holes in the board, or 1/3 of the board shaved off at the end, or missing tongue, or Groove sides. Also black rot in a lot of boards. It seems like whoever was the quality control person for these must have gone miss...

Wall covering
Would Not RecommendI purchased a similar item at lowes just over a year ago and it was much better than this product. This product has too many defects, missing large chunks of wood, cracks half the length of the board, broken and packaged so that it is hidden from view, it is just an inferior product, not at all what we purchased last time.

Dear Lowe's
Would Not RecommendI realize we went with your "Economy plank paneling" for the ceiling and you get what you pay for - but seriously? Only one usable plank per package of six? Package after package? I bought enough to cover plus 20% expecting "some" crap boards, only 4 packages left and am only 1/3 done. These really suck. Edge milling failure; splits, warps, twists... You name it, it's been there these first 10 packages of 6.

How good is good enough?
Would Not RecommendLet me start this review by stating that Lowe’s was top notch in their customer service. This review is nothing to do with Lowe’s, it is only about the EverTrue Pine Wood Wall Panel product. I purchased 120 packs of this product to cover a 1000 sf area. Why so much (120 packs @ 14 sf per pack is 1680 sf to cover 1000 sf)? I purchased extra because of all the reviewers who said that much of the product is unusable. I figured that there are always those folks who can’t be pleased no matter wh...

package pine panels
Would Not RecommendThe package comes with 6 panels, low grade many knots and holes but the thing is that the groove is so thin many are broke. Out of 6 pieces may be 3 good pieces of wood. I bought 5 packages and found this true with all packages.

Achieved the look for a lot cheaper
Would RecommendI wanted to try a shiplap effect accent wall on a budget. This was a great option. These are a builder grade quality, so every piece is not perfect but if you buy a little overage, it should be fine. The results are stunning and as an added bonus, the pine smell sticks around!

good product
Would Recommendthere is going to be some waste due to the nature of the product. Easy to install and gave me the desired look I was wanting in a small bathroom. I would purchase this product again for small applications.

Panels
Some of the pieces were broke and not eat that very good shape and that’s why I gave it to three I think they should look at them closely for the ages package the things

Picture is entirely misleading
This is for one board. Not the entire panel as described

THIIINNNN!
Would RecommendVery thin boards. It’s doing what need it to do(covering popcorn ceiling) but you need to figure more than 10% overage for drops. Too much of it is waste due to it being a scrap type wood. Lots of splits and holes. 25% waste is not an exaggeration.

I love the look, but there is almost always a lot of damaged pieces in each package.

Looks great
Would RecommendProduct looks great once stained or painted but the packs often come with cracks or chipped out on the side.

I love it!
Would RecommendI wasn’t so sure at first because about 75% of the packs had 1-2 boards in a pack with minor flaws in them.. but once it was all put up, it looked perfect! I love all the imperfections, as it adds character to my walls! I was only going to do one room, but I think I’m going to do a few other rooms in my house and maybe the ceilings too! I also used minwax golden pecan stain for the color. It came out so beautiful. I only gave 4 stars because there is a lot of uneven/warped boards that you h...

Not Everteue’s Fault.
Would RecommendFirst let me say that this not the company Evertrue’s fault but it Lowes fault, I bought 15 bundles of this product to do my walls, I have used it before with little waste, but in ghese bundles I had at leat 25% waste! Why? I think what I bought was re-packed returns, when someone brings back the bad boards that they get Lowes of Bowling Green KY re-packs them and sells them as good, I know this because of the package labels, the labels that Lowes put on the re-packed bundles had a black & white...
