Good, solid addition to the EGO line
Would RecommendThere is plenty of power for trimming overhead branches, and the 2.5 battery gives the saw a good balance. I often switch the battery out with a 4.0 battery, and that is about the limit for a 70 year old.

Pole saw impressive - post hurricane clean up
Would RecommendPurchased the pole saw and hedge trimmer to add to my Ego blower, trimmer, edger collection. By chance this was a couple weeks ago and then hurricane Helene hit my region (Greenville, SC). Cranked up the pole saw for the first time and this thing is incredible. Having the range of the pole to limb up trees made the on going clean up much easier. Able to cut 6-8 inch diameter branches that would have been out of reach for a chain saw. Would RecommendI have had the Ego Power chainsaw for nearly 2 years for fairly light work around my half-acre property. I now am moving to some acreage with a new house and now make much heavier use of the chainsaw. I used the standard chainsaw to trim lower branches but I can only get so high when standing at ground level.
