Has the usual 'green' parts that shows the customer what they use to start saw, tighten chain, add oil etc. If you are looking for a terrific cordless/gas free tool - the EGO pole saw is for you!

Would RecommendChain has a tendency to come off sprocket inside housing. Fine line on having it too tight or too loose. Will take a few more uses to get it right. Other than that, great product that chews through some small branches and even bamboo!

Problem with tightening screw for blade.
I am 80 years old and have used this several times - very good although does require tightening saw freqquently and this does require some time to process. Currently just had problem of blade will not tighten sufficiently - the tightening screw will only tighten about half way and then begins to slip leaving chain too lose to use. I have attempted to overhaul the screw mechanism to no avail. Unfortunately nearest ego service facility is 100 miles RT away and will require two trips so not sure...
