Would Not RecommendGot the pole saw like 6 month back used it only couple of time but already seeing issues a> The oil leaks no matter how tight the knob is. b> It started cutting well but over time like after 10-15 cuts it's no longer cutting good and these are thin branches.

Excellent balance and fast cutting
Would RecommendThe pole saw configuration is well balanced. The bulk of the weight is at battery end, but the rest is light weight. Even with the optional 31" extension in place, the saw head can be precisely placed and controlled. Power is very good. I used mine to cut off and break down an 8" walnut tree branch that fractured in the last snow/ice storm. The EGO cut through quickly and without hesitation. Battery life is long, so I have been able to park both gas and AC powered pole saws.
Not what i hoped it would be
The instructions are terrible for mounting the chain on the bar. The unit works fine but the pole saw lacks length and you have to puchase an additional 3' bar to extend the length. If i was doing it again, i would purchase a pole saw that you can manually extend its length without having to spend more money or physically remove the head to add an extender.
