Would RecommendYou have to adapt. Lighter than a gas model. Lower noise levels. Starts and stops on demand. Chain runs faster than a gas version. Cuts faster. Safer device overall with improved/easier operations. Only downside is one battery runs approximately 30 minutes.

remarkable power--for a battery-powered sae
I got this saw as a gift and thought it would be disappointing, but instead I was surprised. it is easy to handle, quiet, and is still the moment you stop pulling the throttle lever. It provides remarkable power but is still not a strong as a mid- to large-sized gas saw. I now prefer it for limb work and use in in combo with my gas Stihl for larger pieces.

Solid product with a few caveats
Used only once so far. Generally pleased with it although 2 issues. 1) sawdust gathers and compresses in the cavity at the bottom of the blade by the bucking spikes and needs to be completely cleaned out periodically otherwise the saw stops. 2) use a larger battery (5 or 6Ah) as a smaller battery will overheat.

Would RecommendI used it today, and it worked very well. The battery was still full after working for about 2 hours.
