Sensors make the magic work!

Super easy to setup. I bought the lite version with no sensors since it was covered under a utility rebate, the sensors are what make make the magic work. Invest in enough to monitor your home for comfort and energy savings. Admittedly, they are expensive; we all know the real cost is far less and that these are a profit center for Ecobee. That is why I rated value 3 stars. The benefits are in comfort and energy savings (direct result of sensor).

Life changing

The remote sensor is revolutionary. Have you ever been on the other side of your house from the thermostat and found it was 10 degrees different than where the thermostat is? YES! The best part about the Ecobee3 is that it's remote sensor (code name = lil'bee) can be put in that area of your house where your old thermostat used to neglect. Ecobee vs Nest sensore. Better for big buildings

I needed the ability to monitor temperatures in a 4 story building. While I like Nest from a user interface standpoint, its temperature sensors has less than half the capabilities as Ecobee and at more than quadruple the cost. Ecobee with the temperature sensor has learn the buildings heat dynamics and keeps the heating bills to the minimum while keeping it comfortable for each floor.

Simple to install. Nice little product

Super easy to install and monitor via app. Really help with temperature control across big room or multiple rooms. Still not sure if I would use many of these once the switch+ becomes a sensor. Need to evaluate price vs. value vs. features of the two (switch+, sensor).

Paired without any effort

When I pulled the battery tab, the sensor instantly paired with my Ecobee thermostat. It's simple and works perfectly.

Ecobee Room Sensor with Built-In WiFi

We built a house and it has an ecobee thermostat. It is located in our bedroom, that leaves the rest of the house warmer or cooler. I got these ecobee 2-pack sensors at Lowes and turned them on, (that took only one minute to do both). With one in my office and one in the living room comfort is where ever you happen to be. They sense temp and movement so the occupied rooms get comfortable as the house temp is more even.

Great addition to my existing ecobee system!

I have been waiting for so long to get these room sensor within reasonable price so that I won't feel bad of overspending. I already have one sensor that came with my ecobee3 and getting this for 50% off was what I was looking for. The battery usually runs for a year and the sensors are providing accurate room temperature. happy with the purchase.

Excellent addition to Ecobee thermostat

These temperature sensors not only transmit temperature, but also whether the room is occupied. They come with a stand, but also can be mounted on the walls. They use CR2032 3V Lithium cell battery, which lasts a year or so. The battery is pretty easy to replace, and it is widely available. These sensors can help you with getting the temperature you desire in the rooms you occupy rather than the hallway, where the thermostats are usually mounted.

Good product

I really like the room sensors. They help my three level house stay warm. I bought 4 (2- 2 packs) during Thanksgiving and have spread them on 3 floors. I definitely noticed a difference in the temperatures in the house. My basement does not feel as cold. I gave this product 4 stars as one of the sensors did work out of the box and I had contact Ecobee for replacement.

Works Great But...

I just got my ecobee four and I bought some additional sensors… They work really well but I feel like they are lacking in some available functionality. I don’t like the initial set up because you have to stand next to the thermostat. If sitting at multiple, to revent running back-and-forth around the house to the thermostat, you need to set them up and note which serial number has been assigned to which part of your house and set them up all at once. I love knowing the temps of each room, it helps me control the temp through the night.

Works well and easy to setup

The ecobee sensors allow me to see the temperature and motion in my Apple Home app. It also balances the temperature amount different rooms. I love it.

So easy to install.

My thermostat (ecobee 3 lite) is in the hallway of our house. We have zone heating that includes the hallway/living room/kitchen/dining room. We get much better heating now that we have 2 additional sensors to balance the heat. The sensors were ridicuously easy to add to the system. Took them out of the box, held them up to the ecobee 3 lite and was done!
