Must have add-on!

I have somewhat large temperature discrepancies between some rooms. During the winter while some of them are very cold, some others areas are very hot; the opposite happens during warmer days. The sensors allow my thermostat to average the temperature in these areas so all of them have about an average temperature and helps saving on electricity charges. My only drawback is they can be a pain when they disconnect due to interference and they are very expensive.

Allows temperature checking to remote rooms

I've had the 2 pack sensors for a few months and it has helped me get a better average temp reading among three rooms. I had cold spots in two rooms but the two sensors have helped me even out the heating issue I had.

More averaged temp in my home

Had for under 1 month but works great. If you have a newborn at home the aux sensors are a must have to keep babys room at the right temp during our long drawn out winters

Great little habits that actually work

My system has been up and running through the Arizonias temps of 115* and winters temps primetime 36* but recover helps keep my bill down to a much more reasonable bill than my old thermostat! Thanks ecobee

Love the remote sensors!

This extra sensor pack comes with 2 sensors - they are terrific for helping the ecobee blend into the background and make you more comfortable. I love their integration with homekit - they can give motion status as well as temperature though it would be nice if the motion updated a little bit more frequently. The batteries last for about a year and can be changed pretty easily

Does its job and great battery life

I've had the sensors for 3 years now and I think I've only changed the battery once. That being said, I wish the sensors would be more quick to detect that the room is unoccupied and switch the thermostat to away. Right now, the time it takes to update takes a bit of time

Much needed whole home coverage

With the additional sensors, I now have insight into my whole home - very useful!

Simple, effective

I’ve had this product installed for 7 days and I can say remote sensors are a game changer. There’s are very simple to pair, name and place. Setup in the thermostat/app are really simple. Choose when the sensor is to participate in the heating/cooling (while at home/at night,/away) and that’s it.

Well worth the investment

The ecobee Room Sensors are a perfect matchup with my ecobee4 thermostat. They allow the thermostat to do a better job balancing the temperature throughout the whole house and save energy and $$$. Love my ecobee4 thermostat and room sensors. Well worth the investment.

nice addition to ecobee system

I bought these to supplement the 1 room sensor that came with my ecobee 3 thermostat so that I could keep my upstairs cooler in the summer. They work great.

A life saver!

We could not comfortably control the bedrooms at night with our nest thermostat. I switched to the ecobee brand and installed remote sensors in the bedrooms. Maintaining temp upstairs instead of the dining room where our stay is has made nights sleeping so much more enjoyable thanks to the remote sensors. Highly recommend!

Great feature to add

I have about 6 sensors at home and it really helps when getting an average temperature for your home or when you are trying to figure out which room is hotter or colder

Simple and Effective

Never had anything so easy to use and integrate...Painless is an understatement! Have four of these scattered about our house. Work great with the mothership. Very impressed.

Excellent!

The room sensors are what really make the Ecobee great. They help balance the home temperature and allow the system to accurately know when you are home and if certain rooms are off balance. For example, we can use these to get the system to keep the bedroom a bit cooler at night. You can tell the system to ignore certain sensors for part of the day during one of your profiles. Like if one room is in direct sunlight during the day and you don't want to cool the whole house more just to keep that...

Makes my house more comfortable

I have several Ecobee Room sensors throughout my house and they really made a difference in averaging the temperature... especially in the winter. I would recommend getting as many sensors as you can afford!

Great addition

These are a complete neccessity for my installation and worked exactly as I needed them to. The battery has lasted years and the units are small enough that they can be hidden quite easily, or moved if adjustment is needed.
