Kept the house running after hurricane

Our duramax ran flawlessly during our power outage The great thing is our tri fuel machine ran on natural gas the whole time with out worrying about running out of fuel . I recommend this to anyone that experiences power failure from time to time . Easily sets up in minutes and we have it all.

Summer is HERE!!!

Along with the extreme heat here and with the hope of rain in the forecast, we wait. There have already been power outages on some parts of the city, I wanted to be prepared. I created an emergency power supply and that is to have my back-up electric power ready. I like it because I can move it around and take it with us if we have to leave.

My 13,000 W generator tri fuel

I love my Duromax 13,000 Watt generator. The fact that it uses three different types of fuel is wonderful and electric start and starting from my key fob. I can plug it into my house and it controls all of my electrical sockets I purchased the extension wire and junction box to control my house easy installation I would recommend this generator to everyone I’ve had several top names in the past This one is the best one hands-down Scott

A versatile Beast

I watched a lot of videos on Generator comparisons before I ultimately decide to go with an open frame DuroMax. I wasted something with high power output, tri fuel capabilities, not too much technology (I work in Tech and I know the more tech the more opportunity for failures), and something that could be easily maintained at the right price point. I started the break in process and it fired right up. I look forward to many years of peace of mind having this thing ready to go at any time.

13000 Watt Tri Fuel Review

I purchased this generator a few years ago. Since purchasing it we have had around 4 or 5 power outages. 2 03 of them were for several hours. The generator powered the whole house with no issues. I would highly recommend this generator. We use natural gas, but is great to know we have the other options if needed

Good Machine but,

I purchased this Generator to power my home in the event of a power outage. We live in Fl and in the past 4 years we have gone through two hurricanes with flooding and power outages. This generator appeared to be perfect for our needs. The "Tri Fuel" feature was the answer to our problems and here is the "BUT!" The fuel selector valve is the reason why I would not buy this product if I could do it again. You'll be able to run the Generator on Gasoline once or twice and then it won't start again,...

This generator is a beast!

Installed a 50-amp 10 circuit Transfer Switch. Hooked up the generator to natural gas and the transfer switch. Hit start and the generator came to life. It powered up all 10circuits and everything on those circuits without a stutter or hesitation.

Just need Power to go out!

I have owned several generators over past 30 years. My last was a Westinghouse tri fuel rated at 12,500W gas, 9000 Nat Gas. I liked the longer warranty with DuroMax and improved Nat Gas rating. Wanted copper windings for longer life, reliability. I was a little dissapointed that there is no battery charger port or even included plug in adapter, but I will add my own to be sure the starter battery is ready when I need it.

Great Generator!!

Bought this for Hurricane season and fortunately haven't had to use it yet outside of the break-in period. Setup was quick and easy and I had no issues during the break-in. I was able to power all the necessities in my house when testing it out.

Backup generator

Bought this as a backup for power failures and also to use for in my yard (2 acres) working with power tools over 100 feet from closest house outlet. Yet to be used for power backup but enjoy the remote start feature and ease of operation in the yard. Replaces a 5,500watt generator with pull start. Keeping it on a monthly test run schedule on gasoline but put in a connection to run off natural gas when used for power backup..

I use this generator as a home backup generator it operates smoothly and provides power to run our entire house once the cords are run and the panel is switched.

Works well after hurricane

This works really well after the power goes out. Used mostly for after a hurricane and it still runs years later. Happy with the purchase. Helps run the whole our with 3 phase.

Haven't used it enough to give 5 stars. Starts right up and runs good. A little louder than I want but the price is right.

Prather Portable Power

I purchased the 13,000 watt Tri Fuel HXT generator during the Texas emergency preparedness tax free weekend along with a cover. It is a very well built machine that I hope that emergency use is limited but, I feel confident that it will be more than what I need when it is needed.
