Ratings & Reviews for DuroMax 500cc Tri-Fuel Remote Start Home Power Back Up 13000 Starting / 10500 Running Watt Gasoline, Liquid propane, Natural gas Tri fuel Portable Generator

Great product. Better price!

I purchased mine just before the spring/summer rainy season here in the mid-west. I’m glad I did as this year has been way worse, than previous years with severe storms. My 13000hxt proved to be reliable every time I needed it. Great product FIVE STORMS! 🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️

Only one of the 3 fuels works

Runs great on Gasoline but not NG. Makes Popping sound while it is running. When it is running it powers the whole house easily. Easy start added so that helps. Changed spark plug. Oil is full. Plumber installed gas connection. Less than 7 months old. Guess I bought a lemon. My mother’s dual fuel works great for her.that is why I bought mine.

So Far So Good

I purchased this generator earlier this year primarily for emergency use during a power outage. But it could come in handy for other uses. I like the build features as well as the generation level for the cost. I bought tri-fuel just because it gave me options.

Started right up

It was delivered 1 day before the i e storm this spring, started right up. This is the second one that we've bought , the first one we ran on gasoline and it worked OK, but after a few years it was hard to start in the cold. Tried propane this time around, I would recommend propane instead of gasoline.

13kW Trifuel

I really like our new back-up generator. After losing power for three days we decided to pull the trigger on purchasing a generator. I researched every generator (under 15kW that I could find and this Duromax had the best warrantee. I’ve only ran it off propane and couldn’t be happier.

Nice display

Very nice , good instruction manual. Runs as expected including 2.5 ton central air unit and 2 inverter window units. All no problem.

Perfect Timing

The day I finished assembly and started it up for the break in we lost power so I followed all the interlock instructions and we had power for the next 4 hrs, --- Perfect timing, ran like a champ, the whole house couldn't be more proud of choosing Duromax 13000, perfect!!!!!!!!

Lots of power for the price

Bought this after an extended power outage. I have had a transfer switch installed and this generator can power my entire house. It is easy to assembly and starts flawlessly. Glad I purchased it.

i like what i bought

simple to assemble - easy operating instructions - haven't had a need to use it yet but did a test run powering the house and did well - ran everything no problem

This old gal can hook it up myself!

I'm a 68 year old woman who lives alone, I have no trouble at all hooking up my DuroMax and powering up my home! It has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion. After the storm passes, it takes little time to roll it out of the garage, hook up the gas line and plug it into my breaker box. The DuroMax give me piece of mind after the storm!!

Great so far!

I purchased this 13kwatt tri fuel over others to use mostly as a power backup for my house. To be honest the main reason I choose DuroMax over the others was the warranty. The others had a warranty on the generator part anywhere from 90 days to 1 or 2 years. I've gone beyond 90 days without ever actually using it, so the 5 years on this one I think was a wise decision. Speaking of warranty, I did have to make a claim before starting it up for the first time. The Fuel Type selector switch wouldn'...

Impressive Voltage

When it runs it provides power for whole house. It won’t run on NG. Gas only and it Pops while it’s running for Hours. Would love to have it Serviced at my house as I am a Senior. Less than a year old.

Excellent choice!

The generator came in handy recently! I experienced a power outage that only affected our home. Luckily we purchased this generator 2 years ago and of course this was the 1st time being used. It worked great and continued after using for about 4 hours!!!
