Heavy and durable yet easy to move. This will last for years

Easy to assemble as I had it together in less than 10 minutes. It started on the second crank, and works as described. It is a nice weight and the shell is all metal which is nice and durable.

The generator arrived in a fully enclosed box strapped to a pallet. Be sure you are home when it’s delivered because you won’t be moving it anywhere else without a pallet jack! Beast of a generator

This generator is a kind of a beast. It weighs in at just under 200lbs so it is not advisable to load it in your own. I was pleasantly surprised to find it is manufactured by Generac who are know for execllent equipment. Out of the box it required around 15 minutes to attach the wheels, handle and fill it with oil. I’m very impressed with this DeWALT generator so far . Assembly was much easier then I had expected and it started right up as soon as I finished putting everything together. One tip I will give you is gently laying it on its back on a piece of the cardboard box to assemble the legs and wheels. Easy to move and store

I ordered a smaller generator because I was concerned about how hard it would be to move this around. Turns out these wheels and the handle are more than capable of handling stairs. As someone with significant arthritis it was easy to pull around. The hardest part was getting the box inside my house! The directions are awful. I love this generator! It has enough power to run anything the average homeowner needs during a power outage, such as my 2 fridges, sump pump, deep freezer, and more. Set up was straightforward and relatively simple. You might prefer to have a second set of hands to help steady/lift the unit when putting on the tires and rubber feet. Once that’s complete, it’s a matter of adding the oil (included) and fuel. Keep the unit on level ground so you can accurately check the oil level. Best Generator To Use

This generator will be so helpful if we have another ice storm like we had in January of this year. No electricity for 5 days! This one started up so easily and it is quieter than most generators. Very easy to start and the handle, wheels are convenient to move around in your garage. I give this product a ‘10’.

Work horse!

Bought this August 12th after the derecho that hit NWI where I lost power for 11 days. This thing worked amazingly well for us. I was able to wire it straight to the house with a 50amp plug. I ran my AC both my fridges and my stand up deep freezer. Had power in my bedrooms both upstairs and down. I limited the things I had powered in those rooms and kept the load at about 30/40%. I ran the generator on my back deck. The pull to start was similar to that if a lawnmower. So, it wasn't terribly hard for me (a woman) to start. It ran plenty of electronics. Like my toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator and miscellaneous chargers like for a phone/laptop etc. It runs on gas, so fuel is easier to find than propane generators. Great generator with lots of power and the ability to use several different power sources is awesome. Assembly was simple and the item was packaged securely. It should be easy to maintain and the size is manageable and easy to move around depending on where you need it.

The instructions to assemble are absolute garbage. Incredibly small, and near impossible to identify parts. That's why I docked it a star. The machine itself is solid. Seems well built. The size of the machine should be handle my needs. This should be a dependable model.
