Such a great investment

The DeWalt 5600 watt generator is a major upgrade for our home!! it comes with four 120 outlets and a 240 volt outlet,  and it comes with a very handy our meter so you know how long or how many hours it’s been in use. It’s lightweight enough for me to move around the house easily and it’s really not super loud. You’re being a gas power generator. I am so happy about this. Thank you so much. 

Starts first pull; easy to move; powerful on the job site.

Assembling this generator was simple and took less than 30 minutes. It’s heavy yet relatively easy to maneuver even on gravel. Before starting it the first time, I filled the oil reservoir (took the entire liter that came in the box), pulled the starter handle a few times to distribute oil in the motor before running. Quick Assembly. Easy to Use

The generator arrived nicely packaged, but if you have to cut it out so do it neatly in case you have to return it for any reason. It was easily assembled with the help of my husband since it was heavy. The entire assembly, including adding the oil, took about 20 minutes. After installing the handle, be sure to check/tighten the bolt that came already installed on the handle. The handle bar locks making the generator easy to move around. Before adding the oil, check that the drain plug is tight....

I'm so thankful for this reliable and affordable generator. Living in Oklahoma has left us without power countless times. I love that it has wheels and a handle making it very portable. Keep your running generator outside. It does have an auto shut off for low oil and CO sensors to keep you safe. We will drain the gas when storing for maintenance and that's about it. Easy to maintain and safe to use when following directions.

First of all this generator exceeded all expectations – it was delivered on a half pallet and was packaged with care and everything was intact. The box itself requires at least a two person lift if you plan to move the box, as it is 260+ pounds. Simple and powerful generator to handle all your needs

This generator can handle anything you throw at it. Set up was very simple and started up instantly with the pull out battery start. The multiple fueling options make for great versatility and love the wattage meter and runtime estimate to ensure you don’t run out of fuel. Straightforward use and could easily power the entire house during an outage.

High Quality and Ample Power

Assembly was quick and easy: bolt on the wheels and handle. You need two 12mm and one 13mm wrench or socket. It's odd that they used two sizes so close together. The build quality is solid. The large rubber wheels add some rolling resistance, but not too bad. The plugs are just like household plugs with four 120 volt and one that is switchable between 120 volt and 240 volt. This generator is awesome and so well built. It is ao easy to assemble and move once it is assembled. The handle is an added bonus. It is well labeled so very easy to follow. There are three ways to run it, gas, propane, and natural gas, and it came with the oil, oil funnel, filter, spark plug so it is ready to go!

Small and powerful

The Dewalt 4500/5600 generator is a nice addition to our tools. It was really easy to assemble and the instructions were clear. It even came with the oil. So far I am very impressed with this generator from DeWalt. Although the packaging was badly damaged, the item itself was unscathed. The manual and “quick assembly” guide made short work of putting the wheels, handle, and padded feet on. Assembly took me approximately 15 minutes. Great generator (but very heavy to unload)

For me, this is even more power than I need regularly, but it's comforting to have one that will get my major appliances through a power outage. I am using it in my barn to fill my large tractor tires with my big air compressor, but I tried it for small things like fans and that's great as well. It runs on gas for me, but you can also use propane and it says you can hook it up for natural gas too. Make sure to place it outside, regardless of the carbon monoxide safety shutoff. Powerful and quiet generator.

Powerful generator! Lots of plug ins. Even runs 240V and 120V simultaneously! Easy setup even comes with oil. A little heavy in the box but once the wheels and handle are on super easy to maneuver. Great gas mileage. Used it to power my work lights and my freezer with no problems. Can’t wait to see it at the campground. Others will be jealous. Overall plenty of hookups, rather quiet to be this powerful and sips gas! Great generator!
