I have been fortunate enough not to "have to use" the generator over any other options, but I will tell you this: if there's an electrical outage or emergency need this thing will easily keep you going. This is a gamechanger for living in an area that goes through power safety shutoffs. It saved our entire fridge from spoiling all the food we had just bought during a recent shutoff. We can power our entire kitchen and living room during power outages and it is easy to move around the exterior of our home with the wheels and handle. The Dewalt generator was capable of running my miter saw, air compressor and just for fun some of my Halloween animatronics with no problem. This DeWalt Portable Generator is well-built and provides plenty of power for my needs! It was easy to set up and start, and the controls are straightforward to use. The wheels were easy to add on and setting up with the propane was a breeze! One note to add is the generator is heavy so moving it may take some effort but overall it’s a solid dependable home backup power for emergencies!

Rock solid and easy usability

Generator is rock solid. The frame it’s in and the wheels make it super easy to move. Handle locks up and down. All the controls are clearly marked. Plenty of plugs and it starts cold on a single pull. It’s as loud as I would expect and runs steady even under load. Took 20 min to assemble and get running out of the box. This will be the go to emergency prep that everyone should have.

Peace of mind

Very impressed with this generator. It is very sturdy and surprisingly easy to move with the wheels and handle. I love how it is both gas and propane so I am able to use whatever I have available. This generator has been very helpful for running my miter saw and table saw outside for house projects I have been working on. I would definitely recommend this product

I bought this DEWALT generator primarily for storm preparedness and emergency use at home. I haven't had to use it during a power outage yet, but I wanted something that would give me some peace of mind and be ready when I need it. Note: If you're going to use this on your home, setup it's permanent storage/usage location. Get your circuit breaker lockout kit for your electrical box. This little guy is heavy in the box! But once you assemble the wheels and handle it is quite portable. Be aware if you are going to lift this into a pickup or something similar it will take a couple of strong guys to lift it. Reliable and easy

I have been using my deWalt 13000 generator for a few weeks. I am disabled female and have found this to be very easy to start and maintain. I know it is more powerful than my last generator, but it is also much more noisy. It is also easy to switch from gasoline to propane. It rulns all that is needed to live comfortably. Once the power is hooked up, it will become a very reliable backup. It was well worth the money.
