Would Not RecommendI've had this saw 6 months and have spent more on replacement part for it than on the saw it replaced which I had for 22 years. The dust port has broken 4 times the rear guard once. It only takes a small (3/4"x3/4"x1/4") piece of cutoff to break these pieces. This is a very poor design. The really frustrating part is the rear guard is on back order with no date when it will be in. I use this on a daily basis and now I think I should have looked at other brands, or not sold the old one.

Big and heavy but precise and powerful
Would RecommendThe first cut I had to make with this saw was pretty complicated and I couldn't have done it nearly as well on my old miter saw. Needed to set a depth for the cut and do a left bevel, and it was very easy with this tool. Next project will involve doing some cuts on 2 x 10 lumber and the slide feature will handle that easily since this can cut up to 2 x 14. Makes angled cuts easy
Would RecommendI like the miter saw because it makes it easier to make angled cuts. The miter saw is like my circular saw, but much easier to make the harder cuts. Plus I had this same saw over ten years ago and I know it is a good saw

Would RecommendAccurate right out of the box . quality built . Couldn’t ask for a better saw For the price . Had in my head that I only wanted a 10 inch slider but I’m glad I made the jump . all my other tablesaws and miter saws are 10 inch but this is clearly going to get the job done. All I did was upgrade the blade.

Hate that I waited so long
Since I started furniture building, I was always told to invest in quality tool. Boy I wished I listened a long time ago! Since upgrading, I have quality cuts and it’s allowed me to be more productive. I do wish it had a cut guide light.
