Would RecommendI have many, many Dewalt tools, all are great, except this one. This one is just good. I installed the XPS light on this thing and I must say that I prefer the old lasers; the light doesn't help as much as I would've hoped. The blade that comes with this is garbage, get a Diablo blade and this thing will shine. I wanted a miter saw with a longer cut and this does that job. The dust collection is ok, I've not used a miter saw that had great dust collection to be fair. Overall this is a good saw...

Best saw for the money
This saw is basically the same saw as the Dewalt 780, without the shadow light. If that's a must you can ad one for about $70; you'll still save more than a hundred $ over the model 780. Saw was calibrated exactly out of the box, and is easily calibrated when needed. Belt drive gives it a ton of torque, which equals smooth consistant cuts in heavy material. Best miter saw I have ever used
Would RecommendI have had this saw just over a year now and as the title says is the best miter saw that I have ever used. Powerful enough to cut cleanly through 2 X any that I have put on it and dead accurate out of the box.

what to do when the leader falls?
i purchased 2 lesser known saws from the blue store. both were defective and missing safety parts. i figured try the best .. pay more get more right? WRONG even the big names suck now! the screws to install blade were crossthreaded. after pics and several calls a week later . i could use my new saw.

Would RecommendSo my youngest son ( 19 ) has been helping me with the family business I just started this year here and there. I had an old no named miter I've had for years. Just a little 10 inch and I made due with what I had. For my birthday this year he decided I needed a upgrade and got me this bad boy. Needless to say I'm 1 happy dad!
