excellent tool for my job

I needed to cut a metal pipe in a confined space. This grinder did the job in very little time. Saved me from trying to saw with hand hack saw.

Good tool.

Bought extra grinding and cutting blades at same time. This works great for both cutting and grinding needs. Glad I got the 11-amp model. At the time it was on sale and only a couple dollars more than the step down model. Worth the few extra bucks. The guard can rotate a full 360 degrees and has 8 positions on one side where the guard will lock into place allowing a secure adjustment of up to 180 degrees. DEWALT Grinder

I'd used a lot of grinders and one thing is true: battery operated grinders may seem more convenient because there's no cord to deal with, but corded grinders won't punk out on you in the middle of a project. Toggling between two batteries is a pain. This is a great grinder from a tried and true name in the tool industry. Every DEWALT tool I buy outlast a the other guys, and they never disappoint.

If you can live with a corded grinder this is a great one at a price that won’t break the bank I do wish dewalt would go back to the old style wheel key so I could still zip tie my key to the cord or at least make a secure clip on the grinder itself to store the Allen key that comes with the grinder

Great Tool!

I'd been looking for an angle grinder for awhile and while cheaper units were available finally opted for the DeWalt. After using it several time for both cutting and grinding, I'm happy to have spent a little more for this one. It effortlessly powered through sheet steel and effectively ground the edges when a lower powered grinder would have bogged down. Appreciate the guard which kept sparks from my face. The arbor on my old Bosch grinder did not accept the newer size tools. I made them work but with some vibration. This grinder was flawless with no vibration and worked much better than the Bosch.

WOW, What a work horse!!

My 7 amp 4-1/2-in DEWALT went out on me and I went to get another one and saw that the 11-amp was on sale, which made it only $10 more then the 7-amp, so I went ahead and purchased it. I can't believe how well this works, it made the 7-amp I was using look like it ran on dead batteries. This thing grinds amazingly and cuts through anything I've used it on like butter. I highly recommend the DEWALT 4-1/2-in 11-amp Paddle switch grinder, you won't be disappointed.
