Everyday User

This grinder is exceptional it grinds away without getting hot and is easy to operate.

Worked great

We used this and a grinding wheel purchased from Amazon to level out the basement slab to lay new flooring. Worked well with no issues.

Strong Motor

I have put this thing to work since I bought it. I run a forestry attachment on my bobcat and use this to sharpen my blades. It does the job and was a decent price. Thanks!

Powerful tool.

I bought this to cut up a water heater into a charcoal retort kiln. Cut right through everything. The powerful motor didn't even slow down as it ate its way through the tank.

So far so good.

Bought this to replace a Craftsman. This is a much better choice. So far it has taken a pretty good beating and still works well.

Good Product

Excellent product. My only issue is the the included instructions could have been written better. The online .pdf was actually clearer to read and easier to understand. At first, it wasn’t evident that the locking flange (4 holes) can be locked with either the spanner wrench (not included) or the Allen wrench (included). lots of power. came with a free grinding disc that worked great for rounding steel edges

Missing an important component

The grinder is fine and operate well, however it came with an Allen wrench, but requires a wrench with studs to tighten and loosen the nut to change the disks. Thankfully my Rigid which broke, used the studded wrench. Contacted DeWalt and awaiting the proper wrench to be delivered. Recommendation - open the box and ensure the appropriate wrench is with the grinder, otherwise you will be needing needle nose channel locks to change the disk.

Last a long time

I v had another one like this for years. It finally stopped working. I hope this one last as long

Nice tool, quiet running and comfortable grip

I needed to use a diamond cup wheel to strip a concrete floor in a small area. I bought this grinder, diamond cup wheel and the dust hood also made by Dewalt. The hood attaches easily and securely due the the design of the bearing housing having slots that retain it well even before you tighten the band clamp screw. Additionally, the diamond cup wheel stripped off the old tile mortar in record speed!

Dewalt 4 1/2 in 11 amp Grinder

I purchased this Dewalt Grinder and it was the best decision I made. Motor did get hot. Gear box got warm after some serious grinding. Has good power. I feel like this is the last grinder I will have to purchase, and it was made in the USA
