Would RecommendThis grinder is well worth the purchase. I have tried many different grinders from other companies and this one tops any other one. Was in a bind after my grinder from a different company broke on the job, ran to the store bought this one and have never regretted it. Highly recommend.

Type 1 guard hard to find
Would Not RecommendThis is a great grinder and made fast work of some concrete grinding I needed to do. I am distressed at not being able to find the Type 1 guard that is needed for cutting wheels. Can't someone please find the part number and post it since DeWalt seems unable to?

No Type 1 guard?
I’m sure this is a great product except I haven’t been able to use it. How is there not a Type 1 guard when the instructions recommend a type 1 guard for cutting? I bought it to cut tile. I ordered a type 1 guard off the internet only to find it doesn’t fit because it’s not a one-touch compatible. I’m a little disappointed in Dewalt on this one….
