no cutting guard

Bought this to do metal cutting. Got it home. See a cutting wheel takes a different guard which isn't included. How stupid. Now another 20 mile trip - or more- to find someplace that has those in stock. Since I haven't used it think I will just return it. Like Dewalt but this is stupid to sell a tool that needs another part to use!

good lightweight grinder

This is my go-to grinder, I love the weight of it and the style of switch. they usually last me 1-2 years with heavy usage.

Great tool

Great for a DIY guy. Easy to operate and control. It is a DeWalt, nothing more to say.

This works fantastic! Easy to use. Multiple attachments which are simple to change.

Dewalt electric angle driver

The Dewalt that I had gave up the ghost. It had the slide switch on top. I was use to that switch location and it took a while to get accustomed to the side switch. That is the only reason for the four star rating. Performed well with diamond disk to remove quick set.

Works great on my lawnmower blades and other grinding needs

Just what I was looking for.

Had a Dewalt that I won at a raffle drawing. When it finally quit on me after about 15 years of use I replaced it with another one. Hope to have it last as long as the first one.

Great grinder

Purchased this grinder to cut metal roofing for a barn I was building. Easily cut through 4 sheets at a time. I really like the adjustable guard!

Nice Angle Grinder

I like the locking switch it makes it easy to handle and the grinder has lots of power and is balanced well, for the price I don't think you can get any better.

Maybe ok for consumer grade, once a month use.

We started purchasing these for a weld shop, not as our primary grinders but something just for sanding discs. We use pneumatic and 9" grinders for all the heavy use. I work maintenance so I have repaired hundreds of grinders over the years. Within 2 days of these hitting the shop floor they have had issues with the armatures shorting out. I have several sitting on my bench that are worthless right now. It is a short on the commutator between different segments so this is caused by the wind...

Final choice

I went through three grinders before landing on this one. Works well, easy tool change, adjustable handle and guard. Would recommend.
