Don't look at this saw as small. It is a full reciprocating saw it's size will now let you get into tight places, variable speed, blade position can be changed to suit your situation. I really like this saw.

Love my new Dewalt cordless saw.

This saw is engineered well and easy for me to use (69 yrs old). Seconds to change the blade. Vibration is less than others. Short profile makes it easier to get into tight spaces. Durable and well balanced.

Shows no mercy

Love love love this saw I use this thing all around the house built a add on shed and just finished cutting fence post around the farm. Lightweight great pair with a 6 or 8 ah battery. Never bogs down either!

Great American made product

There were several other saws that said American made but upon checking the box they are Chinese or Mexican made. This American made saw is hands down the best Dewalt sawzall I have ever owned. It has functionality, versatility, and durability. Just buy the larger battery with for extended use or swap two smaller batteries for continued use. Awesome design

Love the look of this. Fantastic reciprocation saw. There hasn’t been anything this wont cut through. That being said, DeWalt, can you make one of these for the 12v system. I’ve recently bought into the 12v system and would love to have a 12v saw with this design. DeWalt, pleeeeeeease!!

Great Product!

Got this reciprocating saw as a compliment to the one I got at Harbor Freight with a cord. I am delighted with that decision. There are many applications where it’s too far away from an outlet to be practical (or safe). This tool is powerful and effective. A 5V battery is plenty of power to get through tough material. I enjoyed it so much I gave it to a friend and got another just like it! That’s satisfaction and trust.

Got this saw for free with a promotional deal, so far saw is awesome! Lots of power, very versatile

Clarity needed

Seemed like a great deal: buy the saw and get a free battery. Can't go wrong! right? Received the item only to find out that the free battery doesn't come with a free charger. Add the price of the charger and the total would end up much more than I was willing to spend. I returned the item and bought another with all components included.

High vibration

Don’t understand the high approval ratings! I returned mine because it vibrated so much. After using it cutting branches I still had the sensation after finishing the cuttings! Tried another one at the store thinking I had a bad one and it to vibrated heavily, even the clerk felt that was unusual. Tried another brand and it was like night and day! If you still like this one see if you can try it at the store and compare with another brand.

Ghost product

I have been told to review this product, yet lowes has not given me the product I paid for, nor do I have an ETA of when I will actually get this product. So yeah don't buy lowes. There is my review.

Design is perfect!

My husband bought this for me and we work in construction, it works perfect for anything and especially odd places where you can’t get with a skill saw. I love the fact that you can put the blade up or down and left our right.perfect reciprocating saw. DEWALT blades on this saw are very good well. Worry the buy! Team DEWALT!
