Bought for Pruning Trees

I bought this to use for smaller limb and tree cutting tasks that I had been using my 12" electric chainsaw for. The 12" chainsaw works great, but maintenance is a hassle. I hate using it for 10min jobs then having to spend 20min cleaning it up. The Reciprocating saw works well and of course maintenance is super easy. Nice Tool

Very hard power, even if the battery have low power

It is a great tool for its purpose and good price.

The product is just what my husband was looking for. It is very effective and easy to use. Would definitely recommend this tool to a friend.

Favorite tool on my truck

This sawzall is unlike any other one I have used. It is very compact compared to its competitors. I own multiple of this model and will continue to buy when I need it. Highly recommend this to anyone in the field or even someone just looking to use it for home use.

Variable speed trigger is super handy, and it has the longest stroke of any of the sawzall brands out there.

It’s working

So the previous rating was one star. It’s back up to 4stars. Had to open the case and trouble shoot it. Found a loose connection on the motor. I reseated the connection and it seems to have fix the problem.

Stopped working

Ran great till it didn’t. Will run at slow speed but not fast speed. Changed batteries and made sure the shaft is free. I assume it is in the electronic control. One year old and only used occasionally. I am 100% dewalt with battery tools and this is the first time they have let me down.

Another solid Dewalt tool

Definitely a solid piece of equipment. It’s been used for taking down a few small/medium trees and to cut PVC. It does have a decent amount of vibration and gets pretty hot but that’s to be expected with heavy continuous use. I’d buy the same model again.

Battery life??

For small projects of short duration this will work fine. However if you are needing it for more than 20 or 30 minutes, I was suggesting model with the power cord. It was handy to use but not powerful enough.

this thing is a beast with a 5ah battery, i use it to cut metal and studs also tree branches

Compact, powerful and versatile.

I love the weight, size and power of this thing. Having the ability to rotate the blade in 4 different directions is super handy.
