Would Not RecommendThis saw vibrates way too much to use. I've never used a saw this bad. It's also very heavy for the size of it.

Vibration monster
Would Not RecommendI've never used a bad reciprocating saw. Mostly it comes down to the blades you use. This Dewalt however, is a major exception. The saw vibrates so much that is almost unusable. I bought this as a portable backup for my corded Milwaukee. Hopefully I'll only be needing it for emergencies, otherwise, I'd return it. Buy a cheap saw and expensive blades. This Dewalt is not worth the money.

Perfect for hard to get to areas
Would RecommendThis is the perfect size for them spots you can't get to with normal size reciprocating saw. The 4 way blade option is awesome, I think all future reciprocating saws should have it as a standard. The only downside is the vibration, be careful and hold on tight. Another awesome dewalt tool to add to your arsenal.

Almost unuseable
Would Not RecommendThis was my first reciprocating saw I've bought. I rented one from Lowe's rental first. The rental was a Ryobi I think. I used it all day and it was nice. I started to use the Dewalt and immediately notice it has a immense vibration. After 10 minutes of use I'd had enough and I'm returning it.
Great but Disposable
Would RecommendI have had four of these seize up on me in the last 3 1/2 years. They are compact and powerful. The model is compact enough to fit in tight spaces like joist and stud pockets to notch straight back. The four position blade option is nice, some hold blades tighter than others. I wish the guard were adjustable and that they were built to last at least three years for the investment. Overall it is a great saw but unfortunately disposable.
