Most versatile reciprocating saw

I’ve used this saw several times now using my 60volt max 6.0mah battery and even after 30 minutes of extreme construction cutting through 2x10s, 3/4 plywood and some rather big framing nails this saw did not hesitate once and the battery still had 2 of the 3 light bars so I’m sure it will go at least one hour on that battery so it’s very powerful yet super efficient . Bad Vibration - Bad Desgin

Bought this tool less than 1 month ago because it was Brushless and Dewalt XR brand. Supposed to be good quality and well made. I used it the first time last week. The saw had a strong vibration that shakes your arm / wrist. I have had other Reciprocating saws and they DO NOT have this strong vibration issue. Seems like a bad design for the reciprocating system. I do NOT recommend this saw. Wish I could exchange for something else now...

Great Saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to cut a gable vent in as I didn't want to have to lug a power cord up to the roof. This saw cuts as well if not better than my corded recip saw from another major manufacturer. I would highly recommend this saw.

Great power, gets right too work

Small saw, Packed with Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Dewalt Compact Recip Saw in July, I am impressed with the power in this little saw. I have used it for a few projects from pruning small branches to cutting re-bar, and the saw did not bind up or lack the power to finish a cut. The thing I love most about this product is its size. I can easily store the compact saw in my tool box with ease eliminating the need to have a separate box just for my tool.

More compact but the same power

Mighty Handy

I do vintage travel trailer restoration, everything in these gems is smaller than a normal house. This compact design is just what I needed for these small spaces. I like that I can use multiple batteries to fit the job.

HANDY TOOL

Ilike the smaller size, length wise, and the power. Especiall like the ability to use same batteries as other Dewalt hand tools. Lasts about an hour with continuos heavy use.
